    just the best fps created. and knowing that the community is still active is very good, and that is the biggest proof that an online game is good.

    Compared to his predecessor this look amazing its aged very well...the campain is awesome compared with battlefield 3...the plot and gameplay in the campain are well structured...but I thing the biggest pros on this game is multiplayer is gorgeous for eyes and its funny to play with friends

    I think battlefield 4 is the best in the series no doubting that.
    Now the story is not something worth spending a lot of time on. While i did enjoy it (cuz i like shooters)
    i didn't like or care about any of the characters and the silent protagonist really didn't help. Though i must say i was amazed by the various locations and envoirnments. Now the multiplayer is some of the best ever    I think battlefield 4 is the best in the series no doubting that.

    This game’s story is good and gives you some choices to make in it. At the time when I first played it I was more hooked on decisions that alter the final result and it reeled me in.

    Quick background on me the reviewer, I tend to like single player games that is heavy on narrative the most. I also play a lot of racing games and use to play multiplayer games in my high school days but now that it's hard for me and my friends to find a good time to link up so now I hardly play any.     After playing Battlefield 1 and unlocking every gun in the game, I decided to buy this for a modern themed Battlefield game. It runs well and feels good, but some of the features and functions just feel kinda outdated playing in 2022.

I have always been a Call of duty player when it comes to online shooters but I mite make a transition to battlefield 4. The game is overall more balanced and a big selling point is the server browser making it have 0 skill based matchmaking (SBMM). I am a personal hater of Sbmm.     The campaign in BF4 is quite fun aswell. I have not yet completed it but I have played quite a few missions and I have enjoyed all of them. The maps on the campaign are fun to explore and you get to use all sorts of guns. You get these load out boxes regularly which allow you to change your weapon to all the guns you have unlocked through out the campaign. You can play all the levels with the exact guns you want which is awesome!
    I have not played any other battlefield games other then battlefield 3 (when it 1st came out briefly) and 1943 the arcade game. Because of this I can't make any comparisons. But servers are still hugely active on this game. If you haven't bought DLC then you can only use server browser but you still get full XP in all servers. I haven't bought DLC and I haven't struggled to find any games. You can filter servers to find only games without servers and there was around 50 servers with players all without DLC maps so don't worry if you don't wanna buy map packs.

    It does have downsides like the mobility feels restricted. Like you get stuck on the smallest of things. Or marking enemies sometimes doesn't work because they are to far even thou you can see them clear as day. The health mite be on the low side but that's person preference and I think that's just how the game was designed in order to be more realistic. How ever it just gets frustrating that you die instantly then you take 30 seconds to respawn. But you can't even spectate or anything while you wait for respawn.

    The campaign AI is a bit annoying. They will walk past all your team mates completely ignoring them and start shooting you. I know gun fire is to be focused more on the player but don't make it so obvious. They shouldn't walk past your team mates at all. They also shoot your through the smallest gaps which you cant shoot back through so you have to move exposing yourself to more gun fire. I understand a game of this age is gonna have a few hitches but this could still have been better. I blame EA thou cos we all know what they are like with their developers and over working them to over saturate the market with all of their popular games.    … Expand

    Os gráficos são lindíssimos as destruições no cenário são fantásticas. Particularmente a história não me prendeu muito, mas os personagens são carismáticos. A cena final é boa, mas podia ter sido melhor trabalhada para dar uma carga dramática maior. O multiplayer tinha uma quantidade excelente de jogadores em 2021, talvez tenha sido por conta do lançamento de BF 2042, seja    Nota: 8.5

    I love these geme relly I love it . You feel the atmosphere of war in all its forms, planes, tanks and the ships, everything in it is excellent. This is the game if they tell you that there is no mistake.

    BF4 was always good at having consistent gameplay, maps that had their own reputation and ways of playing it. Good visibility in terms of seeing players not blend into the background, weapons that were diverse enough so you could find your niche loadout style.

    Playing BF4 on the PS4 definitely shows the games age in terms of graphics... Saying that, BF5's graphics are beautiful, when you're looking at the animations and map design, however in reality it's buggy, you can't see players in your peripheral vision, you struggle to pin down soldiers at a distance because of the detail. So there's drawbacks in both respects.

    Also, this game is old - so the online community is smaller and very good, so if you're not on your game, it's going to be frustrating.

    The only thing I personally don't like - The TTK ratio, 8 bullets is a bit over the top, don't ya think?    … Expand

    10/10 for the PS4 version for the fact that it isn't just copy and pasted, but overhauled when it comes to graphics, unlike Saints Row IV, COUGH COUGH!
    Every point I made for the PS3 version still stands for this version. Endless hours of fun.

    The story is ok and worth playing once. Nothing special here but in my opinion people buy this game for the multiplayer. The multiplayer got improved in comparison to BF3.     Dopo l'ottimo Battlefield 3 le aspettative rimangono alte per i titoli della saga. La campagna è buona ma non è difficile intuire che non è altro che un contorno del rinomato multiplayer

    EA nos trae la 4 entrega de esta entretenida saga bélica, la campaña estaba floja pero, para pasar el tiempo, la recomiendo. La jugabilidad es parecida a los CoD, fácil de usar. Gráficamente, es bueno, aceptable, aunque, a veces puedes encontrar Bug al azar. El sonido es envolvente, hermoso, sentís que estas dentro del juego.
    El multijugador lo arreglaron bastante desde su salida, por lo    EA nos trae la 4 entrega de esta entretenida saga bélica, la campaña estaba floja pero, para pasar el tiempo, la recomiendo. La jugabilidad es parecida a los CoD, fácil de usar. Gráficamente, es bueno, aceptable, aunque, a veces puedes encontrar Bug al azar.     Campaign was interesting. I played through it twice and had a decent experience.

    Multiplayer was very cool. Before BF4, I only played BF3 on my brother's PC and rented it on PS3 for an hour. As my first true experience with a Battlefield game, I liked how good of a shooter it was despite the bugs. That fall, I had the option between BF4 and COD: Ghosts. I'm glad I chose BF4.

    While Battlefield remains one of the best online console experiences, once again the offline campaign is hugely disappointing, as it's much too short (there are only 7 missions !). While they are very spectacular, they are much too linear for a Battlefield game !     This is absolutely one of the best fps games for ps4 and one of the best battlefield games that have passed in the history for ea. A lot of maps, weapons, free dlc.
    The premium edition was very worth it to pay one off.

    I found this game's campaign mode really boring unlike the previous game. The multiplayer is really really good, a lot of fun modes and customization options for your weapons. This game is at it's best when you play the multiplayer with friends. Overall Battlefield 4 has a great multiplayer mode but a disappointing campaign. Now all the bugs have been fixed and its dirt cheap, so its a steal.

    Battlefield had a rough start at release but now, the game is one of the best games to play. With new players joining into the battlefield action and old folks returning and revisiting Battlefield 4, this game will never die.

    This game is **** awesome 32 vs 32? There's no other games that do this, there is plenty of action, helicopters flying around, tanks driving around, explosions everywhere, rushing objectives with your squad, it's a fun experience.

    I have been playing this game for about 4 to 5 years and I still find a reason to go back and play some more. The great progression sistem, weapon and map variety makes this one of the most complete FPS games out there. You can pick this game up and its dlc for about 20 bucks, and its completely worth it.
    My biggest con is the awful campaign mode.

    Now Multiplayer is a totally different animal! All of the equipment you were able to get into campaign is available to use so long as you unlock it. Combat is tight, has a more realistic feel in terms of sounds, weapon operation and how to playfield is damaged.

    Those unfamiliar with the game, may want to do some researching on the 4 class system that battlefield features, as there are a lot of gadgets and distinct playstyles to each class kit. Another cool thing is customizing your soldier AND their weaponry. (Down to the camo, barrel type, etc.)

    The only downside to the online is the dimished community due to more recent Battlefield games being out. But if you can manage to get a good lobby, you have a LOT of fun! Also, the DLC may not be worth your money at this point due to the low server population and poor support for the other game types like obliteration or chainlink. BTW, if you like "gun master" from Counterstrike, YOU WILL LOVE THIS GAME!!    … Expand

    I personally am not a major fan of the Battlefield games, but i have to admit this is a good game. Good campaign and multiplayer mode. Worth a play if you own a PS4.

    Graphics are great, animation and control are great too
    campaign is linear and looks like playing call of duty !!
    weapons are good, but i didn't like the way you select the weapons when you find them in the way,
    If you are alone and want to spend some time you can have fun with this beautiful game but there is nothing new

    I only played the Single-Player Campaign and had a lof of fun with it. It was my first BF ever. For being a First-Person-Shooter the duration was ok. Well, the Story is a crap, that's fact, but hey, who matters? The Gameplay is cool and the Graphics and physics are great.

    I don't understand why do many bad reviews! The game is great! The graphics are very good for it's release date, the gameplay on the multiplayer is good (although veeery buggy sometimes!) and a whole lot of fun if you like FPS! (And very cheap too!)
    I just took 1 point on this game in my score because, jesus, the campaign lore is awful! Just go for the multiplayer ok?

    I have had this game since launch on the ps4, the start was horrendous... but out of all the games i have on my ps4 i still go back to this game and love it. So for that reason i have to give it a 10 i have played for years and still love it . The bullet drop, the sounds of guns , there is not better fps on ps4 period.

    The singleplayer is very boring and cheap, you mostly dont know whats going on. The cutscenes are boring, the characters are boring, and those things are important to make a good campaign. There is just not enough depth to the singleplayer. So you might reconsider buying this game, if you're doing it for the singleplayer. Finishing the whole campaign, took me about 4 hours, and i tried to enjoy it as much as possible (not rushing too much).

    But screw the singleplayer, right? I think most people would agree with me, if i said this game is all about the multiplayer. Huge maps with 64 players is what im talking about! DICE have really done a great job creating a unique atmosphere in Battlefield 4. The tickling in the stomach when shells are shot everywhere, jets and helicopters flying just above you, tanks firing desperate shots at you never gets old. Unlike the singleplayer campaign, the multiplayer has A LOT of depth to the game. Wether you like vehicle combat, or infantry combat, there are a lot of customisations, and roles to choose from. There are many game modes, some of which are; Conquest, team deathmath and rush which are the most played game modes in Battlefield 4 and 3.
    I've experienced that this game encourages teamwork. Either by healing, resupplying, or attacking/defending an objective with your teammates. The level of teamwork required, to be a stable team is perfectly fine. You dont really have to care too much about your teammates, but in the other side you do. There is a balance that has to be achieved, and Battlefield definately got that balance.
    BUT some unlockables, can only be unlocked by playing the singleplayer, and thats bad, because they force you to play something completely different, from what you're unlocking the specific thing for!

    Overall:
    Battlefield can still compete with many new FPS, and you should just buy it now if you already havent.

    Improvements i wish to see in future battlefield games:

    Singleplayer has to be improved

    Launch has to be more stable

    Premium feature has to be removed! - Even though the base game is good, and its NOT pay2win, the premium contains a lot of cool content that we would like to see in the base game.

Most of the times the enemy soldiers are communicating to each other and would try to shoot you from a far almost never moving up, They also take cover and fire on the player and squad. You can also order your squad mates (or any other friendly soldiers encountered) To engage a specific target you would also be awarded points for every squad kill. The campaign mode features characters that feel alive and each differing in their own ways and actions. The game has the standard explosion set piece but also includes really dramatic moments that can be very inspiring or very upsetting, It has some hidden messages such as "the horrors of war" and "power corrupts" The campaign is entertaining and actually makes you carry about the characters and the story line. Multiplayer allows you to customize the look of your soldier and his weapons. Then partake in large infantry battles with some vehicles. Overall it's a great game and doesn't fall short like Call of Duty.    … Expand

    This game has got to be one of the best war/1st person shooter games. I give it 4 stars only because their campaign seemed very bland but aside from that, it's really good. You have a variety large maps (dlc maps not included), wide selection of firearms, graphics and plenty of explosive action/destruction. I definitely recommend this to anybody who's into war games.

    Still playing it 2 years after launch. Online play is the most fun I have had with my clothes on.

    You cannot beat a BF4 online session into the wee small hours. Yes it's not perfect but i'm still playing it.

    -Sniping has become unbalanced with more and more players choosing to be snipers. Its slowly turning into COD on a bigger scale.

    -The physics in terms of the environment is incredibly inconsistent. The jumping over obstacles is random with the player not jumping over small bits of rocks, railings, building materials and even blown up vehicle parts. Vehicles can too easily get stuck behind environmental objects in which it shouldn't be affected as much as it does.

    -Single Campaign is as poor as ever. I know people dont buy BF4 for the campaign but they could at least give a good effort. Seems like the concept was written up in about 5 mins.

    -Even though it has fixed the bugs it was still a terrible decision to release this game in an unfinished state. We can never let EA forget that.

    This game makes CoD look like total s***. there is so much to do in this game will I jump in a Tank? a jeep? go on foot? spawn on an ally? it's 100% your choice. (you can spawn in vehicles which is nice) The amount of customization is amazing also there's scopes, grips, camo etc for all your weapons you can also customize vehicles. This game gets a great score at 10/10

    Fun campaign, excellent multiplayer! This game is epic! Bought this game for the Ps4 one year ago, I usually finish games within 2 months and trade them in. They have fixed this game completely. Never going to trade this gem in. I have had no issues with it. This game deserves perfect score. Great game!!!

    Both the campaign and multiplayer surpass that of BF3s. That’s not saying a whole lot about the campaign (although it is pretty good) but considering BF3’s multiplayer, that’s saying that BF4’s is phenomenal, which it basically is. It does best what the Battlefield franchise does best; well-balanced team-based gameplay of an immense scale (with 64 players on PC and newer consoles) withBoth the campaign and multiplayer surpass that of BF3s. That’s not saying a whole lot about the campaign (although it is pretty good) but considering BF3’s multiplayer, that’s saying that BF4’s is phenomenal, which it basically is. It does best what the Battlefield franchise does best; well-balanced team-based gameplay of an immense scale (with 64 players on PC and newer consoles) with vehicles ranging from jets to boats to armored trucks to ride in. BF4 takes this to a new level with “levolution”; one map-changing destructible piece in each map, be it a skyscraper which can collapse into the sea, moving the objective which was on top out in the rubble, or a dam which will then flood the bottom floor of the entire map. You can also play modes that use small parts of the map, such as team deathmatch. All the while, you will level up, unlocking new guns and equipment. As for the glitches...well, I started playing this game a few months after it was released so I didn't suffer the brunt of that. Even with that considered, it should be no lower than a 7/10.     In comparison with the current-gen of consoles, Battlefield 4 is the shooter for the next-gen consoles. The graphics are even more stunning than before and there’s an ability to play with more gamers on the console. Choose the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One-version above the current-gen versions.

    The issues aren’t ruinous, and in the case of the multiplayer more an inconvenience that EA needs to address than anything else – but it’s enough to take the shine off what should be one of the best shooters on PS4.
