While the price is expensive compared to other re-releases at $35, the work that M2 has put into the presentation paired with the quality of the game itself makes it worth it, especially considering that the only other legitimate releases are far more expensive. The game itself is beautiful, with great use of parallax, an unforgettable aesthetic, and difficult gameplay that is simple to learn and difficult to master. The soundtrack is also among the all time greats, and the remixed version is a nice addition as well as the other sound options. There are tons of options overall to customize the game, and while the arcade game is very difficult the premium mode and super easy mode make the game accessible for both beginners and intermediate players. This game is a must play if you enjoy SHMUPs. It's still among the best games ever made in the genre 22 years after its release, and this package from M2 is a great way to experience it. Expand
