This dlc is too short, you can finish it in an hour. There are joker teeth and other things hidden to find aside from the main story. There are no challenge maps for batgirl, not worth buying.

This DLC reminded me of "The Harley Quinn's Revenge" for Arkham City - it is also very short and adds nothing new to gameplay or story.

It took me around 90 minutes to beat the "story" itself (You beat up Joker and save Gordon. Yeah, that's pretty much the whole synopsis.) and around 10 more minutes to find the hidden audio tapes using a video guide. Playing as Batgirl feels almost exactly the same as Batman himself - she's got the same gadgets (although she is stripped of some of them) and her animations are actually mostly identical to Batman save for some takedowns. This is incredibly lazy, as a thin girl like that can hardly choke muscular thugs with her bare hands. While playing as the Catwoman back in AC felt different from Batman, this time around it's not quite the case. The promised "hacking gameplay" turns out to be almost a fraud - you have the same ol' crypto... I mean, remote hacking device, but there are a bit more environmental hazards it can activate this time around.
While the core gameplay is still satisfying and we get some more dual play section with Robin, this was still a bit of a letdown. I still hope that more quality DLC is coming our way, considering the hefty 40$ price tag on the season pass.

lazy excuse for a dlc 3/10. this proves that the season pass for batman is a useless money grab. skip this one and the season pass as well stick to the core game..

Ahh yes, the proverbial 40$ season pass has many questioning whether this BATGIRL dlc is worth it. Well it's not. All you literally do is the same combat and predator moves as batman but with *Spoilers* (Not really) cool new animations! Oh, and the whole hacking thing was a joke too, just another shoddy marketing gimmick. But wait the joker story must be good! No its not, it is laughable and it sounds like Mark Hamill is about to cough up the frog he had en-lodged in his throat for years. You can wait to buy this piece of garbage for 7.00$ or if you are an impatient 10 year old you can waste your money on the "Season Pass" and play it right now. Oh how the mighty have been bought out and fallen! Thanks Rocksteady for showing you don't give a **** like the rest of these developers. Expand

A very short but still fun piece of dlc. It's set on one small map and you get to play as Batgirl. There's some collectibles and you do get to free-roam in the small map. Not bad for the $2 I paid

While it is fun to play as Batgirl for the first time there is just too many problems for this to be a good DLC.
Length: The biggest problem being that it is way too short, I finished the story in about 50 minutes and found all the collectibles 20 minutes after I finished the story meaning I got only 1 hour and 10 minutes of gameplay.

Length: The biggest problem being that it is way too short, I finished the story in about 50 minutes and found all the collectibles 20 minutes after I finished the story meaning I got only 1 hour and 10 minutes of gameplay.
Mechanics: Some mechanics used in the game were well made for example, to replicate Batman's fear take-downs you had to instead hack a device to cause people to panic and unleash the pain, unlike the fear take-downs this can only be done in certain places which emphasises on the whole tactical aspect of stealth, the dual take-downs are here as well with Robin tagging along for the ride, some length could've been added here with some Robin sections but instead he is nothing more than a combat buddy who shows up from time to time and then buggers off.
Story: The story was very bare bones and I felt it didn't add anything to the lore of the Arkham games, instead of treading new ground they revisit the same story tropes from Knight, such as Batgirl's and Robin's relationship is mention an then brushed aside, and most everything else is gone before it gets going.
Villain: The Joker is back and I'm sick of him now, he was an interesting villain in Asylum and City but he is just overused, if you're going to have a story with Batgirl and the Joker then do 'The Killing Joke' because that was the only interesting interaction between the two. The worst part is he might as well not be there at all, he is on screen for less than a minute and just monologues the whole time. "Save this save that and then you can fight me."
Overview: In retrospect I didn't get much enjoyment from 'A Matter of Family' but it was possible to enjoy the predator sections, and the distance from the Batmobile was a relief.

Muy interesante la historia y usar a Batichica por primera vez, otro pagaré de Rocksteady cobrado. Como siempre excelente el Joker y es bueno ver a Harley payasa.

This was a short and sweet DLC. It was good to see the Joker in his old form, vice just being a prankster. The little distractions were a nice little nod to the old school batman fans that were familiar with the old death traps.

It's a nice little expansion to the game, with the only wish that it would've been woven more into the AK main story. (There are only a few subtle connections)

Batgirl's DLC is not able to bring anything new to the work of Rocksteady and what we see in "A Family Affair" feels too generic and the large-scale map is pretty wasted.

A pretty short experience that doesn’t expand anything that we saw in the main game. However, A Matter of Family is fun and makes some things right.

This first DLC offers a very short ride and doesn’t really add anything new nor notable to the main game.
