    One of the indie games that started the indie wave back in the day. When you go back you can totaly see some stuff that went into Hades. I think with time this became classic for most of us.

    O jogo é bom, nada além disso. Ele curto, mas ele acerta em tudo que tenta fazer. Gosto da possibilidade de usar diferentes armas e com a possibilidade de escolher os upgrades. A história também é legal, a forma de contar também é muito legal com a voz narrando os fatos o tempo todo. Outro importante fator de gameplay é a parte de escolher as bebidas e as orações para facilitar/ajudar eO jogo é bom, nada além disso. Ele curto, mas ele acerta em tudo que tenta fazer. Gosto da possibilidade de usar diferentes armas e com a possibilidade de escolher os upgrades.     Visually and sonically beautiful. There's three things I'll always miss,
    One: not havin' to watch my step all the time.

    Bastion is fun if a little simple game with nice graphics and story. Nothing mindblowing, but still a solid shooter game that I'd recommend.

    I don't get all the praise around this game. It's a pretty good nice indie, but definetly not a masterpiece.
    The best thing is the narrative, the worst one the gameplay, which feels clunky because of the ps4 controls not being all that good.

    this is not a long game, i think i have played it for about 15 hours and completed everything in it. i did not want to stop playing it. The main character story is so god damn cool and sad and encouraging at the same time. i haven't payed Transistor yet, but i hope it will be at least as good as this one. I tend not to buy PSN games because they always end up free on PS Plus so I feel like I got ripped off. When I saw that Bastion was out I couldn't stop myself from pressing the purchase button, because this game is **** amazing.

    The story of Bastion is very interesting. A calamity hit the world and only a handful of people survived. You play as the Kid. I dig how your character didn't have a name the entire game. The entire story is told from the point of this old west sounding guy. He will comment on **** you do and put backstory on each play you visit and everything you do. The story is about a 4-5 hour long event depending if you explore and do extra **** It has a nice choose the ending to it and New game plus which means a replayable story which is a big component for a guy who likes to go back to games a year later.

    The sound is amazing in this game. Not only is the only voice actor just the best in this game. The music while you play is phenomenal. Which is saying something because most music in games is bland and so generic you don't notice it. I could listen to this games soundtrack while in my car. The game doesn't improve much from the original on the 360 graphically speaking. It seems more colorful not and has more junk in the background if you own this on the 360 it isn't a huge jump honestly. Saying that the artwork is still original and beautiful. I love the creature design in this game so much.

    The gameplay for those of you who don't know is a beat em up RPG. It is light on the RPG but it has the element. The cool thing about this is each board will form up around you so each area feels like a new adventure with Lord knows what'll happen. The game features a variety of interesting weapons and special powers; with each level offering you something new to try out. This is how you make a game developers. Offer something new each level you go to just to keep it from getting stale. The game has an interesting level up system that deals with booze which you can change out anytime you are in the hub world. If the game gets too easy for you, than add some idols to the mix that will make the game as hard as you'd like.

    Overall for 15$ Bastion is an amazing game and one of my favorite indie games to come out. If give it a 5/5. I don't give that score often but this game is perfect. It has an interesting story, with original artwork. This is something that I believe everyone should check out. I leave with a question. Would you like to see a Bastion 2, or think this game should be a stand alone game?    … Expand

    Gegnervarianten sind etwas zu wenig, 20% mehr wäre ideal gewesen.

    Also registered to review this game since I bought it because of a high rating. I think it's overrated by people who haven't played really good games with interesting mechanics and ideas. I had to Google for a plot of this game since I missed it completely while playing. Gameplay brings nothing exciting or new. Some soundtracks were cool but that's about it.

    This is just an amazing game. Gameplay may not be perfect, but it's very good, enjoyable, with multiple styles of playing according to each weapon. But the story, the music, and the way the story is told by the narrator, makes this special, The emotion this game left me after it ended is beyond other games I've played. Very good indeed.

    Bastion is a really good game with good art style, colourful graphics, amazing soundtrack and it features a gameplay that is simples, yet effective. The history and all actions by the protagonist are narrated and it gets really captivating, especially at the near end of the game.

    However the game lacks a little bit of challenge, there is a structure called the shrine where you can make the game harder for better rewards, but allowing the gamer to choose the dificulty ins't always a great idea, since the gamer won't know how exaclty you're supposed to play.

    Bastion is also a straightforward and really short experience, if you don't care about doing all challenges and just speedrunning through point A to point B, you could beat the game in maybe 3-4 hours. Also, a really bad downside is that the game doens't feature bosses.

    I dont know how this is considered an RPG. Its not bad but its the same repetitive levels over and over, thankfully its a short game. Worth a play for the narrator. Not an RPG.

    If you like the RPG videogames this game is indispensable for you. The best of this game is him beautiful scenes, mechanica, history and charisma of principal character. Bastion is a remix of classic RPG, action and adventure. If you like The Legend of the Zelda, Bastion as well you like it!

    This game is ok, but nowhere near great. I think its one of those "wow-its-another-indie-game-made-by-two-guys-in-a-garage-so-its-automatically-a-masterpiece"-games.

    No its not. Its fine, its ok. Its well executed and fluid, but it didnt get me hooked. The narration of the game is very cool, the voice actor is great, but the game itself still has a lack of depth.

It's a simple top down 2-d beat em up/ hack and slash that is fun and polished, with some rpg elements. If I could score this game based on general gameplay alone it's an 8, but as an extended overall package it doesn't quite have the same effect. Final verdict: liked it but didn't love it.… Expand

    Really good RPG elements, and well done. Graphics are really neat, very well made indie game, probably one of the best indie games done so far. Game takes you through a long journey, and it will challenge you depending on your skill.

    Amazing game. However it is pretty short, and maxing everything out/doing all challenges and gods really doesnt feel all that rewarding. No multiplayer makes this game kinda lonely. And no additional content added for the PS4 version really seems like a missed opportunity.

    a lot of people praise this game, but i cannot see why? i play now for some hours, and i am totally bored Zero variety in the enemies or leveldesign. This game looks to me like you put the most generic RPG stuff you can find in a mixer and blend it, but forget to put a story in the mix. pro: the graphics are colorful and well drawn.

    This is a very pretty and highly stylized game, but ultimately a button masher that lacks any challenge. I can see how it might be more fun on a tablet.

Comparing Bastion to triple A games and calling it a weak entry is just like calling tiramisu a terrible tasting steak. The music is top notch, comprising of a wide range of folkFirst of all, I am not going to pretend this game has more content nor does it offer weeks of playtime. Bastion is a simple game and those who can see that it is one of the best simpler games in today's time. As opposed to emotionless full 3D CGI models, the art style of Bastion is simply beautiful, when was the last time you have seen so much color in an action game? The character designs are sleek and somewhat of a 'Jungle Punk' feel to it. Speaking of the characters, straightforward is what I would call them, there is no need for complex backstories cinematic because, guess what? I want to play the game rather then watch it. Enemy designs are very cool as the narrator pretends that you are well versed in the lore of this world already, it never breaks immersion. The few flaws are so minute that they don't even warrant a point off the User Score. Yes some enemies take too much firepower to bring down, and there is no exit when you accidentally fall asleep, all these are just small issues that barely affect how enjoyable this game is.… Expand

    Can't see point in this game. Gfx is bad, mechanics are bad, story is worse and overall boring. Count be good game in 2001 but today we expect more... !

    I love the artwork in this game and it's pretty fun but considering the hype I heard about it, I was expecting more--a lot more. I found the mechanics in Transistor to be more engrossing and I'm only making the comparison because they are from the same developer.

    The one thing that really stands out to me about Bastion is that it looks like a mobile game. This is probably my favorite genre in all gaming so I'm struggling to pinpoint why I don't find this to be spectacular and all I can think is that the story isn't very thrilling (this genre is driven by story-telling). I've struggled to put more than an hour or two into Bastion at a time because once I have my fun with the gameplay mechanics, that's about all that keeps me interested.    … Expand

    In all, if you haven’t played Bastion yet, now is probably the time to. The move to PS4 doesn’t boast many extra features, but the game itself is worth a playthrough (or two, if you’re into New Game Plus modes).
