Another unimaginative and boring game, not worth the full price.
You get dumped bad dungeons, boring gameplay, and gameplay with no charisma.
    Thank you too.

    The good:
A new game from Platinum Games.
The bad: It has a blatant reuse of textures and Assets almost looks like it's from Bless Unleashed. Generic characters, poorly modeled, more generic and unfunny enemies. Modeling characters and NPCs in a weird style, they look like they are made of scraped clay. I am annoyed by this current fashion imposed for Playstation games where plants

It has a blatant reuse of textures and Assets almost looks like it's from Bless Unleashed. Generic characters, poorly modeled, more generic and unfunny enemies. Modeling characters and NPCs in a weird style, they look like they are made of scraped clay. I am annoyed by this current fashion imposed for Playstation games where plants and flowers are constantly dancing and never stop (and no, it's not the wind). Extra payments for consumable items, upgrades and cosmetics. PSX/PSOne FFVII-like pre-rendered flat backgrounds. The camera zooms in and out erratically during fights. Only have 3 classes, understand that the game is a game as a service but if Square-Enix is currently having a hard time keeping its fans in FFXIV with known characters and references, how do they intend to do that with these unknown? Square-Enix believes that we are still in 2006, with Play Online and asking us to create an account to play, no thanks.

    Lo Meh!:
Yes, that is a true Fail (instead of Fall). Seriously Platinum if you're going to deliver nonsense like this, save it. If they tell me it's Neverwinter 2, I believe it seems more like a sequel to an MMORPG than a new Hack'n Slash game. You thought that the worst Platinum Games game was TNMT: Mutants in Manhattan, Babylon's Fail comes, shows their shame and once they can fall lower.

How many flops SquareEnix need to understand that no one needs their **** liveservice games. This money would be better used for a remake/remaster Drakengard.

I feel like there could’ve been a good game under all this garbage. Platinum games is probably one the better Japanese action game developers but this gives me TMNT mutants of Manhattan vibes. Could’ve been good except it’s not

Pretty below average gameplay, weird gameplay, poor graphics and the biggest disaster with the PS4 is that it requires pre-registration, which takes way too much !!! I Spend 1 hour to register

babylon's fall indeed, right off a cliff. executives love to make money but executives are not games developers and this just proves it. a soulless husk of a game made by clueless money hungry executives and directionless developers...releasing so soon after elden ring was just poetry in motion, like a fart in the wind. don't burn your money, spend your money elsewhere

It's so sad seeing all the negative reviews from people who gave up on the game too quickly, if you take the time to play through the first hours of the game and learning the combat system you would be good to go with an amazing combative game with incredible unique challenging boss fights

About 12 hours in, lots of fun. Really like how you can set different weapons for chaining combos and abilities. Gameplay is solid, and graphics aren’t bad - on par with other mmorpgs for ps. The art choice is odd with the faux paining look, but looks great in some of the later levels.

Got for only £1 and still feel ripped off. This game is dead. I recommend avoiding if at all possible

The worst game ever made by Platinum Games. Not enough cash to make the game. You can´t play the game, because the servers are down. Didn´t live not even an entire year.

Platinum Games has showed yet again that it is, on its best days is a C Teir developer. While for some "Platinum" (Should be Bronze) Games has solid to "good" action and combat (See Bayonetta, MGS: Vengeance, Vanquish) all of these Games are underpowerforming C level knock offs, with next to no substance. (Neir: Automata you say? That was Cavia's baby)
    But, Babylon's Fall is absolutely

But, Babylon's Fall is absolutely no different. Another uninspired copycat.

Graphically speaking Babylon's Fall looks like a a late PS3, early PS4 launch titles. But again, this is on par for Platinum. The combat is lacking, feels clunky and uninspired. As well as the poor loot, and quest lines.

Just remember, Games are not a "Service", and Platinum is middling at their best.

The game is ok. The story isn't really good and is not really good written. Although the characters are very nice and interesting. Babylon's Fall, an otherwise ambitious and potential ridden project crumbles under the weight of bad design decisions much like the famous tower its title refers to.
