    Magic mushroom design, endearingly wacky NPCs and visually plush environments are mixed with simple and fun gameplay countered with patience testing level repetition adding up to a fairly unique short and sweet FPS.

    AWAY is a enjoyable roguelite in 3D, quite charming and fun. It has some issues, like its combat, but overall it’s a good option for fans of the genre.

    Away: Journey to the Unexpected begins as a fun and lighthearted romp with a few very unique wrinkles to its gameplay. Unfortunately, this quickly unravels and is severely hampered by poor design choices that sour what was first an enjoyable experience. These unexpected issues in the second half of the game are such a slog, and when you’re presented with a final boss battle that falls flatter than Maroon 5’s halftime show, it makes you wish you had stayed away from the game in the first place.

    Away: Journey To The Unexpected is a game with charming moments, but they aren’t enough to save a dull experience. The highlights are the interactions with your family, but those are at the beginning, then the end of the game. Even the end boss is incredibly easy. It’s an interesting idea, but it feels like a massive letdown in a game that is full of them. The end boss of letdowns, I guess. The only thing I can say in favour of Away is that you should take its advice: stay away.

    The intentions are good, but cute graphics and some clever ideas can’t stop this ‘feel-good FPS’ from being anything but a downer.

    I love these games, sometimes sinned a little when attacking that with the distances not atines, but there is its grace, is different from theI love these games, sometimes sinned a little when attacking that with the distances not atines, but there is its grace, is different from the rest so I put more punctuation for what is. is a rougelite quite improvable that if, I hope they put new updates, or patches to improve the combat system above all, and views of the rest of colleagues, which are sometimes a little complicated to assimilate. For me is a 10 especially in this genre, which needs more life, but I do not put much more than an 8 because it lacks a little interest and that is not so repetitive sometimes that ends up tiring all the bugs and enemies that are created from four or five different ... With more content would not be bad and would be more interesting, put something like a little incentive to the thing, reminds me a little starlink that in the end is all the time the same ....… Expand

    AWAY is a Roguelite adventure in first person view with anime-like graphics. Each world has 3 switches to activate so you can access to aAWAY is a Roguelite adventure in first person view with anime-like graphics. Each world has 3 switches to activate so you can access to a dungeon, where you will need to find a key to reach a boss. Sometimes you will be able to recruit some folks with limited special abilities. To be honest, the game is kinda lame, the hitbox when you attack is horrible and rather difficult to apprehend, controls are feeling heavy and it's not very exciting to play. When you die, you win EXP that can unlock new abilities but you'll start from scratch, except that you can unlock some keys to take shortcuts so can directly return to a dungeon.

    Plus :
    - Very nice 2D sprites (characters and monsters)
    - Colorfull
    - Well written funny dialogues
    - Thank God you can sprint

    Cons :
    - Looks like a mobile-phone game with ugly 3D environments
    - Only 30 fps with frame drops on PS4 PRO...
    - Gameplay is rough and basic (open a chest or talk to someone is automatic...)
    - Quickly becomes too repetitive and boring
    - Mini-loading with black screen when you switch between characters    … Expand
