    We sincerely recommend Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream only to fans of Gust games, as this approach will not be met with an overly warm welcome from new players who are expected to know the complete Atelier Sophie lore until this point.

    Atelier Sophie 2 does a lot of things well, keeping pace moving forward at a relatively good pace. At the same time, it leaves plenty of opportunities to grow as there are some franchise issues that remain in place.

This was an ideal Atelier game, with all elements of the game being of a high standard. The return to a turn-based system was a deep battle utilizing Atelier's original items, and was desired by many users of the series. The game is also very impressive because it is beautifully organized, without the awkwardness between the main story and character episodes that was a problem in the previous ryza 2 game. The puzzle system, which was the best in the past, has been adopted for the mixing system, so you can fully enjoy the ingenious Atelier style of enjoyment. In the story, there are many characters with great personalities, which is really ideal here.… Full Review »

    Very underrated and Atelier Sophie 2 was some of the best JRPGs ever made. Great music and combat!
