    I'm no fan boy, but I love where ubisoft has been taking the assassin's creed series, I mean assassin's creed was getting old and needed change! And ever since origins I've been hooked on AC again!!! I mean open world with rpg and awesome loot was exactly what this series needed and I hope ubisoft continues with this formula.

    All time favouriate game. a games with I can spend time with. I'm much impressed with the new Mysterious sections and puzzle solving is a grate fun. Expensions DLC are superb too.

    The 9th century dark ages England settings is just great, supported by a well done graphics and audio. The ambience is incredibly immersive.
    As for the gameplay it's an AC formula overall. A huge skill tree and many different abilities make it really fun to play and allow different builds. The combat feels simplistic at the very beginning, but becomes enjoyable later with advanced enemies    The 9th century dark ages England settings is just great, supported by a well done graphics and audio.     It's an epic piece of art that does away with many of the bothersome aspects of the franchise. It's not many times that I have been this impressed by a game, the presentation is nothing short of stunning. The visuals, the music, the audio, game play mechanics, story, atmosphere ... it as all here, and it's top shelf stuff.

    I like assassins creed series and i love vikinks !!! This game is perfect for both vikings and assassins lovers ! Game play is awesome with many sub missions , story is related to viking series , music is perfect ! Thanks Ubisoft for all offline-story mode games with long game play + deep story + many many missions !

    Best game in the series in a while probably one of the best, customisation, exploration, amazing stealth, blending, growth so many fighting styles and abilities!! Immersive as it gets perfect mix of callsic old ac realism and the new rpg style! INCREDIBLE!

    BUT UBISOFT removing voice line because someone was offended is dangerous and frankly diabolical !

    I love this game! Playing AC Valhalla is like going to a "buffet". There are many things to do but just don't try "chew" them all in one go. Rushing to finish the game as soon as possible can make you feel bloated and bored. Take your time and don't rush to finish the game. Enjoy the progression of the journey.

    I've played every single assassin's creed game apart from 3 and rogue. I absolutely love the AC games and my favourite had been black flag. But now..my favourite is Valhalla. It's the best assassin's creed game in my opinion. What origins and odyssey had failed to do was immerse me into its story. Valhalla however has a compelling story (probably because I love Vikings). Everything fromI've played every single assassin's creed game apart from 3 and rogue. I absolutely love the AC games and my favourite had been black flag. But now..my favourite is Valhalla. Mas AC Valhalla alcança um novo marco para a franquia - com uma ambientação mais profunda, intimista, com “gravitas”, onde as mecânicas se encaixam bem, os elementos são mais orgânicos e fluidos, onde o mundo apresenta mistérios e convida à exploração e descoberta. E faz isso por trazerEu gostei bastante de AC Origins e de AC Odyssey, por ser um apreciador de exploração em mundos abertos. Mas AC Valhalla alcança um novo marco para a franquia - com uma ambientação mais profunda, intimista, com “gravitas”, onde as mecânicas se encaixam bem, os elementos são mais orgânicos e fluidos, onde o mundo apresenta mistérios e convida à exploração e descoberta. E faz isso por trazer o mito dos Assassinos de volta com seu tom sombrio, mais sério e sem tantas galhofas, com uma paleta mais escura de cores, com diálogos e escolhas que tem maior impacto. É um jogo muito mais maduro, quanto jogo de fato é enquanto mundo aberto, e muito mais adulto do que os anteriores. Tecnicamente, não vi os bugs e erros que tem sido relatados. Arte e visual impecáveis. Fantásticos. Excelente direção de arte. Poderia ser melhor escrito (embora seja melhor do que os anteriores). Assassins Creed não tem roteiros decentes desde os tempos de Ezio. Mas, reforço: tem os mesmos textos em muitos anos. Eivor, aliás, é o melhor protagonista em muito tempo. Com essa mesma maturidade e profundidade que caracteriza essa edição de AC como um todo. Combate fluido, ao mesmo tempo bem cadenciado. Sem excesso de fantasia, com habilidades sem sentido que tornavam as mecânicas viciadas. A volta das mecânicas de “social stealth” agrega muita qualidade ao gameplay. Para o padrão da Ubisoft, que tem muita dificuldade em fazer mundos abertos que se destaquem, que pareçam mesmo vivos e formem cenários imersíveis, que valham a pena explorar e conhecer, esse é o melhor trabalho já feito. Ainda com espaço pra desenvolvimento, como a construção de comunidades e cidades com atividades ainda mais orgânicas e que permitam maior imersão (tavernas, hospedarias, lojas etc), de uma dinâmica de exploração com mais encontros aleatórios nos espaços abertos do mundo e com NPCs mais vivos e diversos, mais expressivos. Mas este é um AC fantástico, maduro e com ambientação profunda. Passos muito largos em direção ao que entendo como ideal foram dados.     VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!! This game does not run on the PS4 slim at all! I gave my original review a 7 but now that I upgraded to the PS4 Pro its a straight, huge 10!!! WOW! The game is now an entirely different experience and looks just beautiful!!! No frame rate drops, the voices are aligned to the characters, the textures look real so detailed and the lists goes on!     I really loved Odyssey (played over 100h) and Valhalla is even better. 10 is not enough.
    Can't wait to see how good this looks on PS5 cause on PS4 pro this looks stunning.

    I have never played Assassins creed before. So for a new user to the series, I REALLY am enjoying myself.

    The story is super fun, although some character animations and voice overs are bad. It does not ruin the overall experience.

    I like the settings of Norway and England, the raidings, social stealth is back, combat system with dual wielding weapons is fun and so is treasure hunting.
    I also like the fantasy-like atmosphere with dark forests, fogs, ruins, curses... I needed a game that I just have fun. I do not need anything spectacular or original or ground-breaking. Just pure fun.     I've completed about 25% of the main story. It's still premature to write a proper review, which I'll do in time, but for now, let me just say that Valhalla is truly a labor of love that longtime fans of AC will cherish. It's a beautiful game. There are many innovations and many refinements of conventional AC ideas and mechanics. There are minor glitches that will be resolved in patches,I've completed about 25% of the main story. It's still premature to write a proper review, which I'll do in time, but for now, let me just say that Valhalla is truly a labor of love that longtime fans of AC will cherish. It's a beautiful game. There are many innovations and many refinements of conventional AC ideas and mechanics. There are minor glitches that will be resolved in patches, but nothing that compromises the flow and enjoyment of the game. I put about 400 hours into Odyssey, and I expect to do the same with Valhalla. I couldn't be happier.… Expand

    The best Assassin’s Creed game since Black Flag. It’s a great balance between old and new and it has a powerful meaningful storyline with a great payoff, wonderful world and great gameplay and protagonist.

    if you are an original assassins creed fan you will appreciate this game a lot just like origins. you can chose to play stealth or go all out attack in this game it gives you the options. hidden blade is back eith instant kills to make the stealth play even better.

    Ubisoft очень приятно удивили. Наконец то в игру вернули интересные и разнообразные квесты. Они просто лучшие за последние три части серии. Теперь квест это не только завуалированное иди подерись, а теперь это может быть интересная история, загадка, расследование или что-то вроде и при том не обязательно что во время прохождения придется вообще драться. Тоесть теперь каждый квест этоUbisoft очень приятно удивили. Наконец то в игру вернули интересные и разнообразные квесты. Они просто лучшие за последние три части серии. Теперь квест это не только завуалированное иди подерись, а теперь это может быть интересная история, загадка, расследование или что-то вроде и при том не обязательно что во время прохождения придется вообще драться. Тоесть теперь каждый квест это непредсказуемое приключение а не протсо очередной бой. Очень порадовали. Так же хочется отметить красоту и детальность игрового мира, в целом графику и оптимизацию. Хоть оптимизация и хорошая, но в игре присутствуют баги, у меня например обрывками воспроизводились диалоги, канаты и кусты с морошей не отображались, дракар пропадал с карты, дальность прорисовки иногда бросается в глаза, иногда персоонаж застревает в нелепом месте, мол не может пройти там где нужно просто поднять ногу и опставить её на камень, ну это я так чего с ходу вспомнил а так там ещё много разного. Отмечаю конечно что монетизация в игре так и осталась очень сильной. И я говорю не просто про платные DLC (это вообще норм, плюс в игре даже есть бесплатные DLC), а говорю я про встроенный в игру супермаркет. Там вам и оружие, и костюмы, и внешние виды птицы/лошади/дракара, ресурсы, карты секретов, ускорители и усилители опыта и экономии времени, лутбоксы, комплекты, ну в общем буквально все за ваши деньги. Вкладывать не хочется вообще, но только представьте что если вы захотите придать какой-то прикольный вид своему герою и его транспортам то будьте готовы выложить ещё 3-4К и это за один только комплект, а из игры специально вырезаны почти все прикольные комплекты что бы вам хотелось вложиться. Ну в общем несмотря даже на баги и ужасную монетизацию плюсы игры все равно сильно перевешивают и играть наконецто действительно интересно. Девять бубликов из десяти возможных.… Expand

    I am a fan of Assassins Creed games since the flagship release with PS3 of the original AC. From graphics this is a gorgeous game with HDR settings for your bloom and lightning effects. The story is emotionally driven with the odd time were it gets slow and a slight grind for collectables.

    Overall very well done game, my only bother is the controls can be a little clunky at times and    I am a fan of Assassins Creed games since the flagship release with PS3 of the original AC. From graphics this is a gorgeous game with HDR settings for your bloom and lightning effects. The story is emotionally driven with the odd time were it gets slow and a slight grind for collectables.

    Overall very well done game, my only bother is the controls can be a little clunky at times and clipping issues with some of the terrain.    … Expand

Everything that was terrible about Odyssey has been taken out and replaced with something so much better. No more damage sponges, no more grinding for hours to level up and I actually am very into the story whereas Odyssey I didn’t care about it at all. The voice acting is great, the openingI wasn’t a fan of Ac Odyssey so I was skeptical when I bought this game, but I’m happy I did. Everything that was terrible about Odyssey has been taken out and replaced with something so much better. No more damage sponges, no more grinding for hours to level up and I actually am very into the story whereas Odyssey I didn’t care about it at all. The voice acting is great, the opening cutscene is amazing and draws you in and the fighting is fast paced and so much fun. The huge map is amazing to explore and the graphics are beautiful. I can’t recommend this game enough to anyone who enjoys AC games or even people who have never played them before.… Expand

    I was a little worry first (we all know Ubi), but after roughly 30 hours in game on Drengr difficulity I must say, that Vallhalla is easily best AC game ever released. I still can't believe how good this one is. Highly reccommended.

    i can't even imagine how the story in assassins creed Valhalla is sooo great it really answered every question of the AC lore , i really enjoyed exploring Norway the snowy mountains and the amount of details on Norway and england is just breathtaking i also enjoyed about how ubisoft dealt with the traditional side quest i'm finally happy that there is no 30+ side quest in my inventory

    side quests are now called world event which it took an average time of 5-10 mint to finish and it's not a waste of time the Game grant you with an epic loot , resources ,money and some of the world events are super funny

    AC Valhalla focuses on quality over quantity unlike odyssey if you like a weapon on Valhalla you can actually keep it for the whole Game

    - the skills in Valhalla are important you can choose your play style and if you don't like it and you want to change no problem! you can refund all the points and start over and choose another play style . that much said Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a good game that corrects many of the missteps found in Odyssey, offering a number of interesting improvements to the series formula

    there is still some very very few bugs but it won't distract you from the experience especially after the DAy 1 patch the Game looks more beautiful than ever    … Expand

    Юбики на мой взгляд отлично поработали над проработкой основного сюжета и сайдов в этот раз! Не третий Ведьмак конечно, но что-то близкое к нему по уровню) Играю с удовольствием)

    While it could have used some debugging this game has actually made me feel happier than I have felt since lockdown started. My deepest thanks to the programers and game designers. 2020 has been a pretty bad year but I'm finding that I'm actually having fun playing assassin's creed valhalla

    Similar to Odyssey and Origins in presentation and scale, but it's closer to ACII, ACIII and Black Flag at heart, bringing many old features and ditching some of the things that didn't work in the previous two games. The exploration falls somewhere between that of Skyrim (compass + things appearing when close) and Ghost of Tsushima (visual queues), there's something organic about theSimilar to Odyssey and Origins in presentation and scale, but it's closer to ACII, ACIII and Black Flag at heart, bringing many old features and ditching some of the things that didn't work in the previous two games. The exploration falls somewhere between that of Skyrim (compass + things appearing when close) and Ghost of Tsushima (visual queues), there's something organic about the whole.

    The game offers so much variety that one has to question whether those who claim it is repetitive have actually played the game. The three main elements are the main story, raids for wealth and materials and the settlement building, the latter two are dispensable. Outside of that there are world activities, mysteries (in various forms ranging from encounters, to mini-puzzles, all helping towards world building), collectables (or artefacts, from parkour puzzles to chase down schematics to roman objects), minigames (drinking, flighting, dice games), hunting and fishing requests, assassinations (order of ancients, zealots, daughters of Lerion) and overall world exploring (this world is worth it, there's a photo round every corner for those who like to use the photomode).

    All in all, the best the series has offered, using what worked in every entry and dismissing that which didn't. The combat could still be improved, but it's better than most of what came before (Unity had a combat system that worked in the setting, but was limited) and is closer to Origins than Odyssey. The parkour is limited, but the setting is also one that does not favour parkour (I think people place too much emphasis on this as it is only viable in settings that favour it, and having recently played ACII, I did not find myself using it much, favouring run around in the streets instead, the constant presence of guards on roofs does not make parkour that pleasant to use). As for stealth, Syndicate probably had the better stealth system, with the ability to crouch behind objects, but Odyssey was the game I used stealth in the most, and I find I'm using it a lot in Valhalla too, preferring to bow and assassinate my way through camps, but having the knowledge that I am combat ready should things fail. I think nostalgia makes people think the older games were more stealthy than they really were, ACII wasn't all that stealth focused.

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is hugely enjoyable with super-satisfying combat and exploration. Medieval England is gorgeous and a joy to explore.

    Great game! Surpasses the last 2 games in the triology by a longshot. The world is beautiful and the story is good. I have nothing bad to say about this game except that the game launched with way too many bugs.

    Its a very good and underrated game, the secrets and treasures often require intelligence to be soulved and found, its very cool, and the armour upgrades throughout the story make it really satisfying, i recommend it.

    The Best AC of the last 5 years, of course has too many bugs, but the recreation of several maps to explore, the recreation of one of my favorite times, the return of the hidden, the return of the ancients and the hidden blade make it better. For me it was worth every penny that I pay. I really love it I can’t stop playing.

    This game is a ton of fun. I've dumped about 23 hours into the game and have enjoyed every minute thus far. Odyssey was fun as well but didn't quite nail the landing in regards to story and side quests. I've only scratched the surface of this game and I've already had multiple times where I found myself chuckling . Really looking forward to diving even deeper into this game.

    Anything less than a 100 or a 10, is not worth reading. Have played it on both ps4/5 and it's well worth the money.

    Visually stunning huge game world, that has very enjoyable story, interesting characters and tons of mysteries and secrets to discover. I will keep playing this game for years to come, that's for sure. Last game that truly made me feel this way was Red Dead Redemption 2.
    Side note: It has better voice acting than previous two games, just something to point out.

    If there was one game from January 2020 to November 2020 period i could play, i would easily choose this one. It's just amazing. It has some bugs here and there, but that's expected from large open world games. Cyberpunk 2077 will have them as well, no matter how much they polish it. Top 5 game from 2020 without any question. Highly recommended.

    I would recommend Youtube channel "Downward Thrust" review of this game. He is one these people who actually understand this game, not one of these "it's so boring, blah blah blah".     2020 has been pretty awful, let's be honest. This game literally brought joy back into my life, not even kidding. I have played it at least 15 hours, it's just so good. I can get lost into this magical world and just forget this awful reality that 2020 has been. I'm honestly so happy that this game turned out be as amazing as it is. I will give 10 just for that, but i would give 10 no matter what to be honest. This game is truly amazing. I actually can't believe Ubisoft delivered that well this time.     Absolutely amazing game that has huge interesting open world, tons of secrets / locations to discover, epic story, good combat, interesting characters. One of the best of 2020. I just love to get lost in that game world, explore not only England, but also Norway. Soundtrack/ambient music in this game one of the most relaxing stuff i have heard in a while.

    Haven't personally had any fps problems, but i play 1080p, so yea. I personally never cared about 4K or whatever. I tried to keep my expectations checked, but not only it delivered, it's more than what i could have even wanted from Assassin's Creed game. Without a question better than Origins and Odyssey. It's way more serious, darker and i love it.

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is a wonderful addition to the AC franchise. It manages to avoid the tropes that became overplayed and focuses on a small well structured story. The fighting mechanics are enjoyable and offer many choices to fit different playing styles. There are a significant amount of bugs and the AI is underwhelming at times. But it's still another step in the right direction for Ubisoft.
