Increíble pero cierto, ubisoft acaba de sacar el mejor juego que han hecho hasta la fecha o por lo menos para mi es el mejor, muy buena jugabilidad como tiene que ser en todos los videojuegos de acción y aventura.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Piękny świat, a przede wszystkim ogromny.

A great AC game. Combat is a bit clunky, but it still feels great, could have been better though. Love the story and music. Lack of naval combat is a bit letdown, and the crew is kinda useless outside raids. Stealth gameplay is almost useless and non-existent. In conclusion, a great game with a rough release with same old Ubisoft buggy notoriety.

Build your own Viking Legend. Become Eivor, a Viking raider raised to be a fearless warrior, and lead your clan from icy desolation in Norway to a new home amid the lush farmlands of ninth-century England. Find your settlement and conquer this hostile land by any means to earn a place in Valhalla.

Good game, ignore the haters as usual with Ubisoft games. Haters are just pissed, because Ubisoft isn't some beta company that does everything that "fans" want and these "fans" want to control everything. Pathetic. Up to try any genre of games and sometimes I find something new that I didn't think I'd like. I own a PC (built by me), Xbox One X, Xbox Series X, PS3, PS4, PS5, and a Switch. I prefer Playstation due to their focus on narrative games. For scoring, I’ll be using the Gameinformer review scale and of course influenced by my personal opinions.

    (8) Very Good. Innovated, but perhaps not in the right choice for everyone. This score indicates that there are many good things to be had, but arguable so.

Metacritic won't let me add my paragraph of how I think about the game. It doesn't go over the character limit but will let me post this so IDK. Didn't use any kind of of bad word either

But if you are this is just another banger. Visually it is stunning as always and Gameplay wise it a lot of fun. The story is on par with the one from Odyssey in my opinion and some additions like you own village are great. This game is like Odyssey very big in map and things to explore. The game also has like Odyssey a very long story. So if you want to enjoy it to the fullist you have to invest many hours. So if you like Origins and Odyssey this should be a no brainer and you should buy Valhalla if you are an old Assassin's Creed some changes to the past won't be enough to convince you.

I'm no fan boy, but I love where ubisoft has been taking the assassin's creed series, I mean assassin's creed was getting old and needed change! And ever since origins I've been hooked on AC again!!! I mean open world with rpg and awesome loot was exactly what this series needed and I hope ubisoft continues with this formula.

To me Valhalla is the first good and interesting Assassin's Creed in years. The game world is alive, the graphics are amazing, even on regular PS4. Some of the mechanics could use a little update and the current times parts are still not interesting.

It is visually stunning, combat is really nice and I haven't experienced any concerning bugs. Maybe some fish swimming on land but that was funny. The soundtrack is on point. I really don't have anything bad to say about this game. It can stretch a little if you are a completionist like myself, but nonetheless, a very good game from ubisoft. For instance, even with the patch Eivor had her face black for a long time in one scene. But let's talk about the gameplay: it's quite addictive and you can try different tactics. I normally start in stealth mode until they see me but you can try any tactic you feel to. Also, you can try different kind of weapons and develop abilities. The game is long (it is said that the main story lasts about 60 hours) but so far I didn't get bored of the gameplay but I do think this kind of games should last about 20-30 hours. About the story, it progress slowly. The viking atmosphere it is well done but it won't be as impressive as the buildings in Odyssey or Origins. A very good thing compared with the other two last games is that you don't need to do sidequests to level up your character so that you can easily advance in the game. About the main character I chose the default option which it will be a female character for most of the game but I really liked her voice. It matches really well with the character. My main complaints would be the slow progress of the story (although it doesn't feel tedious), also it should have been more polish. So far I think this game would deserve a 7'5 or an 8. Not a bad game but it could have been better. Also, I think that they should left behind all the Assassin's Creed brand and start a new game from zero or make individual games. I had the same feeling with Origins and Odyssey. If you ask me, Ghost of Tsushima is better than this game but again, this is not a bad a game. Expand

Anyone who still hates on this game from now on, is just whiny loser who wants attention.

Thanks to that exploring in Odyssey was awful, because high level enemies killed you everywhere unless you were high level yourself. That doesn't happen in Valhalla, in Valhalla you can assasinate anyone with one hit and thanks to that explore the whole world without worry of getting killed. Also, i like that Valhalla has better music and more serious tone than Odyssey, Odyssey was too light-hearted and not in a Syndicate way (Syndicate was perfect mix of serious and lighthearted), but Odyssey does it in cringe way. Most dialogue in Odyssey is just bad writing. Valhalla is more serious, more focused and Norway-England is in general more interesting setting than Greece could ever be anyway. Expand

There are far fewer cookie-cutter outposts than in previous AC’s, and most sidequests now offer an interesting story, sometimes even with a less-than-obvious solution. While some anti-grind measures have backfired, Ubisoft is on the right track. [Issue#250, page 56]

Assassins Creed Valhalla is a wonderful addition to the AC franchise. It manages to avoid the tropes that became overplayed and focuses on a small well structured story. The fighting mechanics are enjoyable and offer many choices to fit different playing styles. There are a significant amount of bugs and the AI is underwhelming at times. But it's still another step in the right direction for Ubisoft.
