The Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy from Capcom is an outstanding release that shows off some of the best games in the Phoenix Wright series, as well as some extra goodies that make the return journey worth your time. The trilogy also highlights the high points of new gameplay tools in relation to the logic puzzles that separate this trilogy from previous games in the series, while also showing some of the gameplay tools that didn’t work. Regardless, it’s still a solid trilogy.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy sets the gold standard for game compilations going forward as it brings all three of these well-loved titles under a single banner. Both newcomers and veterans have every reason to keep their eyes on this trilogy; with a bounty of extra features to dive into, this is far more than just a port of three visual novel adventures. This is a love-letter to the Ace Attorney community that should be enjoyed by all.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is a very good compilation of Ace Attorney games 4, 5 and 6 (also with Phoenix Wright), with improvements that were not in the previous remastered trilogy. That said, all the games in the series are almost identical: to know if you like them, try the first ones first and then finish the story with this one.

An adorable cast that is impossible not to love, lots of extras (including DLC) and a greatly improved quality of life are further points in favor of this second Trilogy, dedicated above all to those who are discovering the series in recent years, but also recommended for those who want to relive these events after a long time. No objection, your honor!

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy brings the last three mainline Ace Attorney games to modern consoles, and they're just as good as ever.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy brings three great games to modern platforms and, as a whole, make an incredible story that all players should enjoy. This trilogy, specifically, is a testament to the evolution of the series between different platforms and technologies while showing that its main pillars, story, characters and incredible mysteries are still strong even nowadays.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney proves, with decisive evidence, that it never gets old. This remaster gives a nice glow-up in graphics and music and gameplay feels graciously adapted with some sacrifices.

All in all, this is a nice little collection of portable games from the aughts. The gameplay isn’t for everyone, but if you enjoy, or don’t mind the occasional, interactive fiction/visual novel game, you’ll enjoy your time with Apollo Justice.

While it doesn’t reach the storytelling heights of the Phoenix Wright Trilogy, this is a collection of great remasters with several standout mysteries. [Issue#37, p.86]

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy follows in the footsteps of The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles by offering a compilation of three Nintendo DS games with their respective improvements and introducing a new protagonist. However, Phoenix is still way better than Apollo.

While all the chapters of this Ace Attorney collection shine in their beginnings and endings, they do have some tiresome segments in their middles. Despite these shortcomings, players who are willing to overcome them they will discover a wonderfully colorful cast and great writing.

If you have already experienced the previous games, you definitely have to continue with this compilation full of moments of uncertainty, seriousness and comedy that cannot be missing from the series. On the other hand, if you want to start here, there is really nothing that prevents it, but the ideal is that you already know how everything works in these courts.

Even though it’s not too friendly with newcomers, it’s hard to deny the value that Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy brings. For one price, you get three excellent visual novels filled with memorable characters, interesting plot twists, and plenty of humor.

Whether you have played these games previously and are simply excited to see them released from the shackles of Nintendo’s handheld ecosystems, or you’re jumping into the insanity that is this sequel trilogy for the first time, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is an unmissable courtroom drama.

If there’s one criticism I think will be levied against this new collection of games, it’s that, at the end of the day, it’s simply more of the same. Series diehards and more casual fans will undoubtedly find a lot to like here, and I certainly hope it’s a sign that we’ll be seeing much more of the Ace Attorney franchise in the coming years. For those who weren’t sold on the original trio of Phoenix Wright games, this second collection won’t do much to sway your opinion.

The Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice Trilogy merges three good games with a unique slant, colorful characters and interesting stories. The set features quality of life improvements such as autoplay, being able to choose any section of each chapter and has a well-stocked museum section full of artwork and music. The three titles look good, sound even better and managed to keep me enthralled, albeit with a bit too much filler in the middle. Sifting through the testimonies and demonstrating contradictions remains cool and makes you feel insanely clever at times - even when the gameplay is minimalistic.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is a bit of a no-brainer for fans of the series – it’s three more solid entries enhanced for modern consoles alongside a wealth of extras and quality of life improvements. What’s not to love? Saying that, however, we’re of the opinion that this offers the weakest selection of games when it comes to the three collections now available. If you’re new to the Ace Attorney series, perhaps start with the Phoenix Wright Trilogy or Great Ace Chronicles, then think about picking this one up.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is a worthy successor to the Phoenix Wright Trilogy released in 2019. It contains all of the same basic upgrades and improvements, and it finally means that the entire franchise — minus the Edgeworth games — can now be played on one system. The overall quality is similar, with the somewhat weak Apollo Justice being followed up by some of the finest Ace Attorney has to offer. It doesn't really matter if you're a newcomer or a long-tie fan; if you like turnabout cases and back-and-forth courtroom drama, this trilogy has you covered.

It's very hard not to love Ace Attorney, and that trend happily continues with the Apollo Justice trilogy. The games themselves are steeped in charm thanks to well-written, melodramatic stories and a great ensemble cast. They've been treated with respect, too, with lovely visual improvements and an enjoyable array of extras. While some weak spots here and there are inevitable, and some of the series' flaws are still present, overall there's little to object to.

A collection of three brilliant visual novels of investigation and deduction, full of extras and well adapted to modern platforms, that unfortunately lacks Spanish translation.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is a simple remaster, but the three games that comprise it have stood the test of time quite well. The gameplay is still immediate today, the puzzles, riddles and cases to solve are stimulating but not frustrating, and the updated mechanics for the new platforms work well. We already knew the plots, they are mysterious enough and all the characters, not just the protagonists, are well characterized. Graphically, then, it is incredible to see all the models and animations in high definition, the "Objections!" and the expressions of both 3D models and the more classic flat illustrations. It's just a shame for the lack of localization in Italian and for the extras, which are poorly looked after and rather banal. It may seem like a small deficiency, but having them or not makes a lot of difference, especially for those who have already picked through the original chapters several times.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy delivers exactly what it’s supposed to, updated versions of some brilliant narrative-adventure/puzzle games. For longtime fans of the series, or those who’ve only just collected their Attorney's badge, it’ll bring you hours and hours of court case fun and introduce you to a wonderful world of characters and stories. The only objection is there isn’t more of it, but we’re bound to get another Phoenix Wright adventure starring all of his associates later down the line.
