    Bioware gave me the best games in my life. Mass Effect, Baldur's Gate, SWTOR, Dragon Age.

    But f..k Anthem is the biggest let down for me in a long time. The story missions end in 2 days of game play. The rest is unnecessary.

    Bought The game 9 € and still wasn't a good move.. The game was is insanely big and empty just like metal gear solid tpp. Great graphics with empty world, bad sound fx(even with good headphones still the sound crashing), bad story, bad visuals even with one more player (the explosions made me almost epileptic), very bad AI, crappie design of the enemies, boring gamplay.     This is not Bioware game. Where is good old Bioware that gave us KotoR and Mass Effect / Dragon Age and Jade Empire. I think better would be if Ea close them finaly. This Bioware is not the same.

    This game is a bigger disappointment than the botched ME3 ending. Yes, there is fun to be had flying around and the graphics are gorgeous, however that is the extent of the content. This is NOT an RPG. Your choices don't matter. This is a mediocre looter/shooter. Every quest is go here and kill bad guys or go here, collect these 6 things while killing bad guys. To top it off, theThis game is a bigger disappointment than the botched ME3 ending. Yes, there is fun to be had flying around and the graphics are gorgeous, however that is the extent of the content. To top it off, the servers are unstable. Unfortunately, I bought the Art of Anthem book so I know what could have been. I want the game that was in that book. BioWare has fallen far.     Anthem has good gameplay with a nice mix-up of firearms and specific skills for each class, has a good map size and great vertical mobility with the flying system. The big problem is when you have a looter-shooter that is not rewarding and has no loot. Not because it's difficult to get the best gear in the game, but because there is no loot.     Flying is fun... and that’s about it. The story is weak, poorly written, and badly executed. The flow of the game feels segmented and choppy, given all the loading screens and separate zones. The combat isn’t that fun, and gets really old after a while.     I tend to really like grinding for gear in looter games. After 13 years on WoW, 5 on Destiny, and lots of time spent on other games like Diablo and The Division, I’m no stranger to the genre. Given all my gripes with the game, I’m sure I would have stuck around and even enjoyed my time if the gear was at all interesting. But it just isn’t. It’s some of the most boring loot I’ve ever seen in a video game.

    By far the most overhyped game of the decade. What you saw in the trailers was everything that was in the game. Not a bit more.
    **** story, no content at all, hundreds of bugs, bad gameplay. Graphics are the only part worth a point.

    I paid the full price when it launched to ENJOY the following points in minutes:
    - 60 mins flying like Iron Man
    - 30 mins of finding out the variety of story and quests - 60 mins of dialogues So after 2 1/2 hours I saw enough of this game. Update: Anthem Next is gone and so are the promised fixes and improvements. I actually paid them to give me TRASH. WOW!     Anthem is one of those games that try to please everybody but in the end pleases nobody. The story is convoluted in that once a part of the story is done, it snaps right into another part without a smooth transition. Another part of Anthem’s legacy is its bugs. Even 1 year after it’s released, it still has server errors that sometimes makes it impossible to get into the game.     Anthem is effectively a four-person, instanced; squad shooter. The bulk of the action takes place within instanced missions, or strongholds (dungeons). These can be fun, especially on higher difficulty levels; however the objectives consistently boil down to 1. Kill everything, 2. Fetch this, or    At times Anthem is enjoyable, it is just unfortunate that those times are few and far between.

This is not uncommon, but other games in this genre try to present these objectives in an engaging way. In Anthem, they are presented lazily.

    This all gets tiresome quickly.

    Yes - flying in a robotic suit, firing missiles, hitting combos; and shooting machine guns is fun.. but there is no real depth here.

    There is little incentive to play at higher difficult levels other than for thechallenge. In other looter shooters you are rewarded by the increased chance of better gear or loot; that isn’t the case here.

    The game is also disjointed. The menu layout is unintuitive, there are long load times, you have to return to Fort Tarsis (your base of operation) far too frequently, you cant swap equipment in-mission, sound stops and starts in big firefights, the javelin controls are a bit peculiar (there is no ascent option, you have to move forwards if you want to fly up; thus prepare to hit a lot of walls). I could go on. Basically, all of these frustrations pull you out of what could have been a good game.. if there was any game there to have. This is just a lot of interesting sci-fi shooter ideas, poorly executed.

    There are some bizarre design choices. Fort Tarsis (your base of operation) is purely singleplayer. You have to actively travel to (load) a separate social area to engage with other players. Why not integrate the two ala Destiny?

    Customisation is good, and there are a number of components, weapons, grenades etc.. which shows potential for customising a build. However, you are still effectively pigeon holed into a specific part of the class spectrum (Rogue: Interceptor, Mage: Storm, Tank: Gladiator, Generalist: Ranger).

    All in all - this feels more like a demo than a fully fleshed out game. The fact that this was released at full price is shocking.

    I give this game a 4 because it can be entertaining (and I only paid £5 for it), but it needs a complete re-work.    … Expand

    The gameplay is enjoyable, it’s definitely fun and pretty to look at. Sadly I (and many others) struggle to even log in due to the ‘Error retrieving Anthem Live data’ at the log in. I’ve spent 4 hours playing the game initially and probably equal that again, if not more trying to log in again after I’d closed it. Still not managed yet...

    comment peut-on rater un jeu avec une qualité graphique et un gameplay aussi exceptionnels ? La table de loot est une blague, les affixes ne servent a rien, l'histoire est nulle et les dialogues sont une torture. Une multitude de promesses non tenues, une arnaque, rendez-moi mon argent bande de voleurs.

    Uma verdadeira porcaria. Joguei no lançamento, 3 dias depois de zerar desinstalei e nunca mais coloquei a mão nessa piada de jogo.

    As missões são repetitivas e cansativas, os loadings absurdos e os inimigos são mal desenvolvidos. Sobre a trilha sonora: tão esquecível que não lembro nada.

    This game has so much potential! It clearly fell victim to a company that only cares about digging gold out of their users, that’s when I ask myself, how can people be so forgiving with big ones like EA after all their **** politics, and so critical with indie developers.

    Anthem is painful. Everything is so slow, so buggy, frame rate is horrible and the gameplay is not fun. Story is horrible, there are no characters and the matchmaking is broken. Dont come closer. Leave this game and never return.

    The single shortest honeymoon period I've ever had in a game. Within the second hour of playing I had felt like I've seen everything it has to offer. Half-baked, dead and abandoned almost 2 years later, Anthem is the worst AAA looter-shooter to ever be released.

My largest complaints are that there are hardly any cosmetics so most players look similar but with different paint jobs, the loading times on PS4 pro are terrible and frequent, the sound design is criminally bland, and gear is uncreative and generic.     Malo, le falta mucho, no es ni la mitad de lo que promete, pesa tanto para que todo tenga que ser online, este tipo de juegos donde afuerzas tienes que tener alguna subscripción llámese gold o PS plus, para poder jugarlo, no hay como una buena campaña local, ah eso deberían de apostar las casas productoras de juegos, no solamente copiar la fórmula de los pay yo win,

    Anthem rappresenta la decadenza assoluta di una software house sviluppatrice di videogiochi. Gioco letteralmente penoso, ingiocabile, buggato e a tratti frustrante, ripetitivo e nauseante. Esperienza pessima per chi, come me, lo ha acquistato al day one. 70 euro buttati via, sarebbe stato meglio spenderli in veleno. NON ACQUISTATELO PER NULLA AL MONDO. NEANCHE GRATIS.

    This could be one of my favourite game ever and instead it was been a shame.
    Promised updates never arrived, lack of content and remake stopped.
    For the rest (graphics, gameplay, etc.) magnificent game.

    Un juego con temática interesante y un tema en el que se inspiraron para la creación de juego de interés para una cierta parte de los fanáticos de los juegos, lastimosamente con unos errores que dan a conocer que el proyecto fue abandonado desde el principio una pérdida de lo que hubiera sido un gran videojuego.

    There’s an intriguing game buried somewhere in Anthem, lying broken beneath its loot and structural frustrations like chunks of fossilised dinosaur bone.

    Even if I ignore all the bugs, glitches and disconnects I had, Anthem is still, by and large, a mediocre game. The lackluster story, loot system and gameplay make this game one to pass on. At least in its current state.
