Anoxemia’s intended atmosphere is one of horror, yet I mostly felt annoyed. I wasn’t afraid or juiced up with adrenaline, I was just frustrated. If you’re looking for the wonder or the terror of the deep, you may want to look elsewhere.

Anoxemia in the dictionary defines; lack of oxygen in the arterial blood. Through out this game you struggle for oxygen. Now the true mission is you are working with Navy tasked with procuring plant species from the bottom of the sea, the main character is Dr. Bailey who is in a submersible that he use after his submarine crashes. The Navy maroons him at the bottom of the ocean and Dr Bailey decides to continue his mission collecting plants. If collecting plants were all there were to it we'd be in heaven, but as you explore there are many hidden dangers including nature itself as well as those that are man made with their mission being to take you out. The game gets tougher as you progress. You receive upgrades for your submarine that allow you to out smart any enemy.
    I rate Anoxemia 6.5/10 (Good).
The overall balance of the game was phenomenal made you as blind as you'd be at the bottom of the sea, the controls were basic yet this game was worth the play. Great job Badland Games.
