Nov 23, 2016Among the Sleep recreates a world between dream and reality, seen by a 2-year-old baby. It is intriguing and disturbing and tells an interesting story. However, it has some technical problems that can annoy some players.
-
Sep 5, 2016Among the Sleep features a very interesting story with a great plot twist, but it fails to deliver a good quality survival horror game. The duration is too short for this kind of story and it does not reach a good level of fear for a horror game.
-
Aug 3, 2016Among the Sleep gives a fresh perspective by looking at the world through the eyes of a two year old. The puzzles in the game get repetitive and are too easy.

Playstation Official Magazine UKJan 23, 2016More than an (unsteady) walking simulator, Among The Sleep is still in need of a bit more game than the comfort blanket of puzzles it cuddles. The payoff's great, though. [Jan 2016, p.90]

Jan 12, 2016Among the Sleep is a fun way to kill a couple of hours, and while it isn’t the deepest, most engaging puzzle game on the planet, playing from the perspective of a innocence-filled child is an innovative and interesting approach.
-
Jan 4, 2016Despite the great storytelling mechanics, I can’t help but wish there was a little more to the game. When all was said and done it wrapped up in a handful of hours at most and I was left craving more.

Dec 24, 2015Charming as it might seem, Krillbite’s attempt at horror turns out about as scary as a brightly-colored bed sheet.
-
Dec 23, 2015It’s an original concept and a very unique experience. Not to sound like a broken record, but Among the Sleep feels like it’s over just as it’s getting into its groove and that’s really my only major complaint.
-
Dec 23, 2015Among the Sleep would be a good buy at $9.99 or under. As it stands now, $14.99 is a bit too steep a price to ask for a game that is very short, and not particularly emotionally investing.
-
Dec 21, 2015Among the Sleep is a wonderfully dark game that touches on life as a child with a not-so-happy childhood.
-
Dec 17, 2015A horror game with a controllable toddler is a fantastic concept. Unfortunately Among the Sleep doesn’t quite go all the way with it. There’s a lot of promise early on with the first level, but things slowly fizzle out towards the end. Ultimately Among the Sleep didn’t leave the impact I was hoping for, but instead feels like a missed opportunity.
-
Dec 17, 2015The game's images convey less the abstract terror of an unknown world than they do a sub-American McGee warping of childhood innocence.
-
Dec 10, 2015The narrative goes to some nightmarish places, but it ends all too abruptly, and technical issues apply the sleeping cap to an already mixed release.
-
Dec 9, 2015Among the Sleep is an interesting idea, but some details could have been made with more care.
-
Dec 8, 2015A curious, frightful take on childhood trauma that whips up scares from the most seemingly mundane sources. Among the Sleep is unpolished and scrappy, yet eerily memorable.
