This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is absolutely terrible.

This is a 20$ game at a 40$ price tag. If you have any standards, stay away.

10 hours of game play! AT MOST

I LOVE Adventure time and their previous games. I DESPISE this game.

Enemy placement is a joke. You do more attacking of stationary objects to level your character than you do actual fighting. The voice acting is great, the script is terrible. The combat is amateurish. The art is jagged and looks like it was done by someone who knows JUST ENOUGH to get a 3D image to resemble the characters.

Seriously, what were these people thinking? Spoiler: As an example, at one point you have to progress through the banana guards to their commander and they are COMMANDED to stop attacking you. Half obey, the other half keep attacking you. This isn't some act of rebellion, this was a poorly thought out concept. This is so that you have mobs to keep attacking, BUT IT MAKES NO SENSE. That is an example that sets the tone for the rest of your experiences with this game.

Another example of how none of this makes sense. Marceline's axe is the only thing that can break metal chains that bind chests. Ok, ill buy that. However, she CANNOT cut open the wooden doors that are a barrier between you and a chest. These WOODEN barriers have computer chips as locks protecting chests with METAL CHAINS around them! Why? Because you need B-MO to open the digital lock...WHAT?! If the wood cannot be cut by an axe.. how the hell where the trees cut down to make the boards?! How where these boards made?! This illogical approach is prevalent throughout the ENTIRE GAME! WHY?! At least make doors metal! - NOPE - Screw you, we are going with axe proof wood with digital locks. Suck it.

This is an insult to fans. This is a terrible game that deserves zero praise for the amount of money that it costs you for the privilege of being absolutely livid at the amount of money you have wasted.

I will NEVER purchase a game by this developer again. They knew people would buy this as fans of the series, despite it being done by a bunch of high schoolers trying to push something out before the end of summer break.

Stay the hell away from this game. It isn't much of one.

The game’s animation and performance are lacking but its art direction is colourful, and the dialogue has the same infectious energy as it does in the show.2 Only die-hard Adventure Time fans should check this out. [Issue#153, p.89]

Despite the fact that I’m not a big fan of the Adventure Time series, I enjoyed the game. It has some flaws, and there is way too much grinding, but it’s a nice change from what we usually play. If you enjoy some witty conversations and a little bit of mindless gameplay, then you should give Adventure Time Pirates of the Enchiridion a try.

A charming license is stretched over a vapid RPG to ill effect. The fans, and the show, deserve better. [Issue#333, p.69]
