Apr 3, 2016101 Ways To Die is great fun; each level is superbly crafted and the whole experience is enjoyable. Loading times are almost non-existent and the install size is only notable by the fact that it’s a mere 289mb. How they packed it all in to that, I’ll never understand.

CD-ActionJun 29, 2016The game’s cardinal sin is that it painfully limits your creativity. Instead of inventing deadly contraptions you mostly recreate those designed by the developers, so you can meet the level completion requirements. [06/2016, p.43]

Mar 21, 2016Fun in short doses, it does enough right to warrant a quick look, but even though creating your own weird and wonderful traps is the title's main draw, the gameplay can outstay its welcome when the difficulty level begins to rise.

Apr 28, 2016Fun for a while but by the time the difficulty curve really kicks in you’ll be bored to death.

Mar 29, 2016101 Ways To Die is an average puzzle game. It’s technically sound, looks decent, and has an interesting concept, but a harsh difficulty curve and lack of variety keep it from being more.
-
Mar 18, 2016A death simulator which somehow makes killing annoying little Netto minions actually a frustration, rather than the joy it should be. While it can be fun at times, the awkwardness of setting up the levels, lack of atmosphere and character make it a rather underwhelming experience.
