This is absolutely worth picking up for PS3 owners, and one of the better video pinball games I've ever played.
-
Zen Pinball is a great pinball game. It's easy to jump into and play, but learning the nuances of each table will take a long time.
-
The menus are slick, the tables are colorful and cool, and the presentation is fun and flashy.
-
Anyone who enjoys pinball will probably be very happy with Zen Pinball and should definitely take the game for a spin.
-
ZEN Pinball is one of the PlayStation Network's best releases this year.
-
Overall, Zen Pinball does it right and puts itself into a class of its own. Pinball machines are a very unique invention and to replicate the feel of one by using a gaming controller isn't easy. But with gorgeous graphics, fun sound effects and addictive featury gameplay, you'll gain faith in a game like this.
-
Zen Pinball's a decent use of time and money. It plays a good game of pinball, and that's all it set out to do.
-
Great theme tables and fast-paced action make Zen Pinball a winner.
-
The excellent tables, tight controls, fun multiplayer and community options, and potential for expansion via DLC in the future make this a great title. Unfortunately, I can't give the title a must-buy rating as it is just pinball - many untrained players will find the game somewhat dull.
-
The menus are slick, the tables are inventive, and there are fun extras like slow motion available.
-
ZEN Pinball is a blast for both fans and casual players of pinball. The four tables included are not the best out there but sweet sound and graphics along with nice multiplayer features and the possibility of new DLC material makes this one a keeper. A must have for any pinball loving PS3 owner.
-
It is just possible that everything is falling into place at the right time for this title. An affordable, massively fun and entertaining take on an old classic done with real class and prowess. This might just be the beginning of another golden age of pinball.
-
Pinball games have been part of video game culture forever and they have been on PC and consoles for a long time as well but we have yet to find a pinball game to give you that pool hall/arcade sound and feel when you are playing your game. While Zen Pinball is a good game I would rather play a real machine than a virtual one but this is certainly one of the most detailed pinball games we have seen in years.
-
Thankfully, an intense multiplayer mode saved this game and will have pinballers everywhere trying to find that score of 1 billion.
-
The best straight pinball simulator for some time, with four well designed tables and a fun multiplayer.
-
AceGamezZen Pinball looks and sounds very authentic, taking everything that makes one of gaming's oldest traditions so much fun and successfully translating it into virtual form, all wrapped in a neat, tight package.
-
Zen Pinball should please fans of the genre, but those who don’t fancy themselves pinball wizards should be wary.
-
Certainly worth a play, but only a true Pinball fan will want to slap down the cash.
-
For any PS3 owners craving a game of pinball on the system, this is currently the best (and only) choice, that is if the much older but more dependable likes of Pinball Illusions don’t appeal.
