A new part in the long WWE Smackdown vs. Raw franchise. It’s got simple gameplay and many of the modes from last year including a few major improvements. It’s a shame the graphics are a little bit poor.

WWE Smackdown vs RAW 2010 adds a lot of options to the series, but seems to miss that the essence of the game - the fights and the atmosphere surrounding it - go further than a fun entrance and some flashy moves. People who are not really skilled at performing fast combinations, will find this WWE Smackdown vs RAW 2010 perfect. People looking for more, should wait for the next in the series.

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 is an impressive new direction for the franchise, as it features a way for players to become directly involved with the other side of professional wrestling: the storylines. Sadly, I've been unable to find a playable match online, thanks to severe latency issues.
  4. If this year’s features are expanded on for the next game, brilliant, and all that, but in order to really take things to the next level, perhaps completely reworking the gameplay would be the best thing to add into next year’s release.
  5. WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2010 doesn't fix any of the fundamental issues that the series has had for years, and as this style of gameplay gets another year older, it looks that much more dated.
  6. Wrestling in all of its glory, full of colours, muscles and spandex suits. Fans of the show are going to be thrilled when they see all the customization options and user creation modes, but the rather slow and sometimes long matches can be a bit off-putting. Smackdown vs Raw 2010 is nevertheless the best game in the series so far.

The problem is that nothing really newTo me this game is good, but only if you play it with friends. Playing against the AI just isn't fun. The problem is that nothing really new of innovative has been done to this particular series for so many years now. What the game really needs is a total redo, that uses euphoria physics instead of no physics. The game needs to be more intuitive and immersive, rather than "Oh that guy is doing a grapple with that other guy, I can't attack either of them until they finish their animation", which is really bad. The create you're own content tools are sort of alright, but the create-a-superstar is very time consuming due to the model having to reload every time you chance something about it.

I would personally recommend this to anyone with 2-5 other friends that they would be able to play it with, because otherwise it will get very tiresome very quickly.
