There are certainly enough challenges and enjoyment on offer to justify the price tag. [Issue#213, p.97]

Worms Crazy Golf drops the ball by seeming to ignore what makes games fun. There are some interesting holes scattered throughout, but you need to push through so many uninspiring ones to get there. Better Co-op would have gone a long way.

As a PlayStation 3 title, a distinct lack of longevity and a disappointing multiplayer game will see it land short of the hole. [Issue#115, p.111]

Worms Crazy Golf truly doesn't boast a lot of content and ends up feeling a little lacklustre. It's fun to play but soon becomes repetitive; even the multiplayer mode is shallow and won't keep you entertained for long.

Crazy by name only, this iOS port costs three times as much for the same amount of content. With simplistic controls and bad replay incentives, this game has little to recommend.

Fun in multiplayer against friends on the same console (don't play this online), and family friendly.
Although there are two game breakers at times: there are places on the golf course you can actually get stuck. If you get there, you're basically screwed for that hole.
The other one is that the worms on the field are meant as obstacles. In single player they explode after being hit. In multiplayer for some reason they don't. So you can really get stuck behind such a worm.
