    All in all, Worms 2: Armageddon can only be recommended to all fans of the franchise. It's great fun and really entertaining, especially the multiplayer mode.

    Worms 2: Armageddon brings the classic experience that made the franchise so popular to the PlayStation 3. It's in no way a revolutionary title for the series, rather its a retro tribute that still manages to provide an entertaining if somewhat limited experience.

    If you haven't played a Worms game before then this is definitely the best jumping on point. The game is full of fun for newcomers and includes plenty of content. For those die-hard fans looking to embark on yet another spree of global worm-fare, Worms 2 includes just enough iterations to make it worthwhile.

    Worms is not a bad game, not by a long shot. In fact, it is quite entertaining, especially for new comers to the series. But do I need to spend another $10 or $15 on a Worms game when a previous version is already owned? No, not really.

    Worms 2: Armageddon is not different from the other Worms games. It works very nice and it looks great, but it is a shame that Team 17 didn't create something new.

    But what you do get - a quick, smart, fun challenge that you can sit down and play with your mates while you're waiting for the pizza to arrive - is definitely not to be sneered at.

    Worms 2: Armageddon is an better version of Worms (2007), which is a port of Worms: Open Warfare.
