While not the most ground breaking stealth title, Vampire Rain is worth a try for a stealth fan, even with its flaws.
-
Like the vampires portrayed here, this game just plain sucks.
-
Vampire Rain: Altered Species has a lot working against it. Substandard AI, deficient visuals, exasperating difficulty and a host of other problems that make you wonder how much effort and care was actually poured into the game.
-
The PS3 version fares no better than last year's abysmal 360 release.
-
The whole thrill of stealth action is the ability to outsmart your opponent. So what does Vampire Rain do? It gives you singular, trial and error paths that has about as much variety as a prison meal.
-
Often people complain about the expensive cost of the videogames, but paying 70 € for a great title don't seem to be excessive for anybody. However Vampire Rain costs 60€, which is offensive if you look at its quality. If after reading this review you continue thinking that Altered Species deserves an opportunity don't complain that we didn´t advise you… A title not only to forget, but also to avoid.
-
It's like the developers didn't even play the games they were blatantly ripping off.

DavidSJun 11, 2009This is nonsensical indulgent garbage. I guess if you really want to help the economy go ahead and pick this one up. I'd rather watch paint dry.
