    The great, well-written story, fluid gameplay (some of it has aged tho), and good graphics makes this a must buy for PlayStation users. Naughty Dog really put in the work and it shows here.

    It's really good adventure like a Indiana Jones movie! Gameplay is sample but its not a problem. Maybe its little bit too short.

    Uncharted 2 took on the foundation of Uncharted 1 and improved it in every way. The storytelling improved, the enemies improved, the puzzles became more fun, and the combat became more interesting - the game feels less like wave after wave of faceless enemies to shoot at, which Uncharted 1 sometimes feels like. Nathan Drake continues to be a fantastic protagonist, and he took on a moreUncharted 2 took on the foundation of Uncharted 1 and improved it in every way.     This game revolutionized cinematic gameplay. The set peices were jaw dropping and still are! I went through the Nathan Drake collection in 2019 and I can say that Uncharted2 stands the test of time.. the gameplay is fun. The story is fun. It's just such a good time with a loveable and memorable cast of characyers.

    First Uncharted game was great, Uncharted 2 is a masterpiece. Gameplay's quite better at overall; enemy AI's has improved and well-known action sequences added for the first time to the series. With its better written story and new characters, Uncharted 2 is one of the best games ever made.

    A Great Follow Up to Drakes Fortune also love its adds to Nathans Quest in the Vein of Indiana Jones And The Temple of Doom exploring the Trail of Marco Polo so It does take some historical license but that's ok more streamlining mechanics for platforming Puzzles once again i have use Gameplay walkthroughs but that's okay 1010

    Despite being 10 hours long, you could probably sit through this game in its entirety and never lose focus. This is perhaps the most well-paced video game of all time. There is nothing that I have played that compares to it in that regard. The story is well-told, no combat scene feels similar to the ones before it, and the characters have become downright iconic at this point.

Nicht umsonst hat Crystal Dynamics bei ihrem Tomb Raider Reboot ordentlich bei Uncharted abgekupfert, denn die Formel funktioniert einfach und Naughty Dog perfektioniert sie stetig weiter.     Big improvement from the first game. It feels like a good action movie. Would rate higher except I died too many times just because I did something more creative than the game wanted me to. It was like playing with my mom over my shoulder. And the last boss SUCKED.

I was very bored playind it. Very long figts, for 7 - 10 minutes and i would not be so fixated on this if the duration was like the first part of 6 hours. I don't know who came up with the idea to increaseUninteresting.     Esse título mostra pra toda indústria o quão longe um jogo eletrônico pode chegar! Uma obra prima.

    Novamente a história não é nada demais, mas a maneira como é contada faz toda a diferença, aliado ao gameplay quase perfeito, esse jogo representa o epítome de um jogo eletrônico de ação. Palmas à Naughty Dog, o melhor jogo da franquia no PS3.

The puzzles here are also in full beauty and they also felt a little better.     There are some bad things I don't see a lot of people talking about though, the game is kinda glitchy (at least the Nathan Drake collection version) the end portion is kind of weak, and the final boss in the hardest difficulty is absolutely god-awful, he is so unfair    An all around improvement to Uncharted 1, better set pieces, more colorful and detailed, better shooting, story and pacing.

I only managed to beat him because I accidentally glitched into a wall where I could shoot him, but he couldn't hit me (happened twice, but I accidentally glitched back in and died the first time)

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Second installment of Nathan Drake's story keeps everything that was cool in the first game - and serves it in a way that is slightly more fun.

    The game was one of the best looking titles back in 2009 and 12 years later it's still visually good. It's clearly seen how the devs were learning to manage PS3's architecture with time. The visuals are not shockingly better than in Drake's Fortune but improvements can be easily spotted.

    Game mechanics are almost the same - minor changes happened in the combat system (melee combat requires a bit more than just button mashing, stealth becomes a thing - but well, still no crouching button...), and that would be it. I'd also say aiming is kinda less infuriating than in Uncharted 1. What didn't change, is no possibility to throw back the grenades and enemies being bullet sponges.

    Speaking of enemies, a big step has been made - they are more diverse than in DF. It comes along with strengh increase: it takes a lot to kill some of them, and they can be pretty dangerous too (especially the ones with miniguns) but the combat is not frustrating. It's an important improvement, as DF's way to challenge the player was to throw out neverending waves of enemies. Here they are a bit stronger and from time to time some cover tactics (cover system is still broken btw) is involved but no more ages-lasting shootouts . More boss fights were added, which is quite cool too. For slaughtering enemies and finidng hidden treauseres the player is rewarded with $$, which can be spent on new weaponds, rendering modes, skins and cheats that can be used while replaying the game and make it easier/more fun. Oh, and multiplayer is dead already (obviously).

    When it comes to level design, it's also more diverse than in the first part. The train sequence, or tank fight are super creative and realized with a lot of details. It's not just running and shooting tho, elements like escorting an injured companion or puzzles (still not enough of them for such a game!) are there too. If you're a fan of Naughty Dog games, you definitely will spot some Crash Bandicoot inspirations. I'm really thankful for the devs to limit QTEs, especially during the final bossfight (it's there but not substituting crucial moments). The game is slightly longer than the last time, yet 12-13 hours should be enough to beat it.

    When it comes to the story, it's a typical Uncharted scheme - cursed treasure, Nazis, monsters and a silly romantic subplot. Nothing new here, yet fun. Cliche done correctly is a good cliche, remember that.

    To sum up - Among Thieves still holds up and is a must if you haven't played such a classic as late as 2021 (like me lol). It's no revolution comparing to Drake's fortune - just same stuff made better. Might want to check out the remastered version - it's available for PS4.    … Expand

    When I was a young know it all, this was my favourite game I had played at that point in time. The characters and settings stunned me and it was easily the best looking game on the PS3 for me, even better that Uncharted 3 and the The Last Of Us in my opinion.

    The only thing that keeps me from giving this game a solid 10 is the high focus on directed game play (if the game wants you to do something, most game aspects work towards moving you to what you should do, which cuts off from exploration and learning the game yourself). It's of course a natural thing with these types of games but I know for a fact Naughty Dog can do better.     Uncharted 2 takes full advantage of previous game's mechanics and gameplay and improves them in every imaginable way. For me Uncharted 2 is the ultimate adventure experience and one of the best titles available on PS3 and PS4.

    - Gameplay - Uncharted 2 took all the cinematic bits from Uncharted 1 and blew them up into a full on cinematic experience. Every moment of the game felt like I was watching a James Bond movie, except I had influence over every action. I love it. The puzzles were average, but the action sequences totally make up for it.

    - Story -
    The story and characters are probably the best part about Uncharted 2 for me. With every cutscene, I bonded with the characters more and more. The jokes, burns, and puns between them were hilarious, and when they make a serious point, you can't help but care, and fight for their goal. The plot is very interesting. The game starts off with a flash forward in an epic moment of the game, and you are left wondering how Drake landed in such a predicament. I love it when games and movies do that. That mystery gets me hooked.

    - Visual & Sound -
    Everything looks great, and the settings were diverse. The structures were detailed, and the devs made it pretty clear what was climbable and what wasn't. Despite being able to make inhumane leaps, most of Drake's movement animations looked natural. The background music matched the action. Epic music when the action was at its peak, and mysterious tunes when discovering a new area or encountering a puzzle.

    - Replay value -
    There isn't much replay value at all, besides maybe going back and collecting all the treasure hidden within the levels. Not that it matters, cause the single player experience will give you all your money's worth.

    A simple vista puede parecer muy similar al primer juego pero en realidad es muy diferente. En general, todo lo malo del primero es corregido en este. Escalar es mucho más intuitivo y preciso, los sitios donde nathan puede agarrarse son resaltados normalmente con colores llamativos como amarillo, azul o rojo, lo cual facilita mucho la mecánica principal del videojuego. También la respuesta del personaje es mucho mejor que en uncharted 1, lo cual mejora la jugabilidad en general. El combate apenas cambia y sigue siendo bastante incómodo y lento, pero sí que se nota una ligera mejora cuando aprietas el gatillo. Los puzzles siguen siendo escasos y simples. Gráficamente también es excelente, siendo un juego de 2009. La historia realmente es buena, te mantiene intrigado en todo momento con mucha acción en diversos e interesantes escenarios, excepto el final que para mí es demasiado surrealista. Dura unas 8 horas, la duración perfecta para lo que nos quieren contar. Sin duda supieron coger lo bueno de uncharted 1 y llevarlo al máximo. Muy divertido.

    this sequel I think has better storytelling,better graphics of course,and better gameplay overall compared to the 1st version

I suggest to everyone interested in playing this to play the first one first if you're not picky with graphics or modern gameplay mechanics--though there are not really many references, the story and some sentences hit different. I also recommend the whole Nathan Drake collection due to its incredible story and gameplay quality.

    Few games define a generation like uncharted 2 does, from setting a new standard for graphics on the console’s hardware, to making movie setpieces blush, this game is one of the best pieces of fictional media to have ever existed. Kudos to naughty dog for making this masterpiece.

    Fantastic adventure. Spontaneous interactions between the characters made the game extremely realistic and made me feel like I was inside the game. Gameplay, story, presentation of the story, level design, everything is amazing.

    Ich bin einfach ein riesiger Uncharted Fan, weshalb es nicht wirklich überraschend ist, das ich auch den 2. Teil mit 10 Punkten bewerten muss, bei vielen Spielern gilt dieser teil ja als bester der Reihe und vor 2016 hätte ich da auch zugestimmt, aber nach dem Release von Uncharted 4 musste dieser Titel bei mir auf Platz 2 weichen, trotzdem ist dieses Spiel einfach unfassbar gut und hatIch bin einfach ein riesiger Uncharted Fan, weshalb es nicht wirklich überraschend ist, das ich auch den 2. Teil war und hat auch ein paar der ikonischsten Momente der Videospielgeschichte (z.B. die Anfangssequenz im Zug) Zur Story muss ich denke ich auch bei diesem Spiel nicht viel sagen, die meisten sollten dieses Spiel kennen und diejenigen die das Spiel noch nicht kennen möchte ich nicht Spoilern, da man dieses Spiel einfach ungespoilert erleben.

    Uncharted 2 takes what the original did and ramps it up to 11. Better story, animations, graphics and set pieces are all here for you to marvel at. Unfortunately on the downside it carries the tradition of a fairly crap final boss battle, but apart from that a fully entertaining game.

    Among Thieves is all about constant movement. And even movement on top of movement. It grabbed me from the beginning and didn't let go for twelve hours. Once I finished, all I could think about was playing it again. More than a defining game for the PS3, Uncharted 2 is a defining game of this console generation.
