    This game is a complete masterpiece. I can think of no flaws on it! From story to characters, everything is spot on perfect. They took a huge step forward with the previous game fixing all the problems with the previous one to make a perfect masterpiece with this one

    This game is entertaining, fun and spectacular that I was speechless all throughout. Definitely the best Uncharted ever made, followed by U4. It is insane to think that this was running on PS3.

    É uma ótima continuação, não só melhorou tudo que havia no primeiro jogo como também trouxe muitas novidades, os gráficos que no primeiro jogo era bem medianos ficaram muito melhores, a história foi muito mais trabalhada que no primeiro jogo, e a jogabilidade teve diversas melhorias e novidades, e além de tudo isso foi o jogo que me introduziu na saga Uncharted

    The second game in the series, more refined and more bad-ass than the first.

    Let's break it down Story: Cool and interesting story that actually gave me the feeling i was watching something like indiana Jones. The hidden city and the blue dudes are cool. Characters: All pretty well characterized actually, though all sociopaths in their own way. Levels: Very well done.     The best Ps3 game I have ever played. Uncharted/Naughty Dog was the reason you would buy a PlayStation 3. The voice acting was great. The story was better. Above all the action was so mind-blowing it felt like you were in a movie actually doing the stunts with the people. This game is the best.

    A must have for every Playstation fan and a great sequel to Uncharted Drake's Fortune. This is what a sequel should be and what to expect from it. Naughty Dog truly took advantage of the Playstation 3's potential with this one and on top of that it has great follow up story and beautifully design levels. The game runs on a 720p resolution with 30 frames per second and allows onlineA must have for every Playstation fan and a great sequel to Uncharted Drake's Fortune. This is what a sequel should be and what to expect from it.     Another case in which the sequel far exceeds its predecessor; the audiovisual improvement is obvious, improvements in the control to improve the gameplay, which is still the same base, a much better worked plot, beautiful scenarios and sequences, action and compate improved as well. Of the trilogy of PS3 no doubt this title is the best, a classic console and generation.

    Tengo que reconocer que la introducción y el final son muy épicos, y ese toque cinematográfico ayuda a que te adentres en el juego, junto con la relación entre Nate, Chloe y Harry.     This game is amazing. One of the best stories i have ever seen, the action of the game, the cutscenes are incredible, the characters are very memorable.
    I faced some bugs, but that's not what will interfere with the note, because in no way are these bugs constant or spoil the game.
    Naughty Dog masterpiece. 10/10

    after 5 years of this trilogy and perfect review of all series it didnt call my atention my freind gived me this uncharted 2 and ive play it few hours and i could see that i was not wrong its not my style, BUTTTTTTT!!!. it was very fun playing it and i couldnt stop i want it to finish it quick to see whats gonna happend.
    about the story is cool and i like the gameplay, weapons are amazing.
    multiplayer is the best 3D shooter online.
    but the horroble thing in all uncharted is the AIM you aim in someone in the head but when you shot the bullet hit his body.
    so thats 0.5 les for this review, and other thing that the enemy are clones you can find same guy 100 times in the game, so 0.5 les so its 9.0 for this review
    what i didnt like thing is that your enemy throw a grenade against you it allways comes to you perfect they never fail throwing the granade and all your enemy accurency is perfect.
    after all if i liked uncharted that mean any any any one will like and love this game.    … Expand

    A perfect sequel to Uncharted 1, Among Thieves manages to do everything bigger and better than it's predecessor. The cast of loveable characters is back and the new introductions serve the story well. The story itself is a bit similar to the original one in concept but takes us to multiple astonishing locations and manages to keep things fresh and fun during it's entire playthrough.

    This game was awesome. You could easily make a great movie out of it. The story was great and is at least two or three times longer than the first game. The controls for FPS still suck but that doesn’t demerit how good this game is.

    Definitely a must for solo/campaign gamers.

    Uncharted 2: Among thieves is a instant classic and a incredible sequel to the first Uncharted game! This game is a must play title and it made the uncharted one of the best linear action/shooter games in the world.
    They really improved the game from the first one and polished all the flaws, like cover system. Also the shooting and close-combat was more advanced than in the first one. Close combat still isn't good as uncharted 3's or uncharted 4's but its better. Biggest upgrade from the first game definitely is the chance to approach enemies stealthly. They absolutely realized that big part that was missing from the first one was sneaking and i'm so glad that they implemented stealth into this sequel.
    Only problems that i had with this game is still the cover-system and close combat. If the close combat would be like in the third adaptation this would be 10/10. Main villain in this game is pretty mediocre because he is just evil without any motives and that as well takes one point from this game leaving it to 9/10.
    Story in this game is far more interesting and i really like the way this game tells history, characters and their relationships and expeditions by Marco Polo. Also i find Shangi La really fascinating.
    I really recommend this game to all gamers who liked the first one because this is just like the first one but everything is more flawled and improved.

    Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is a major improvement to Drake's Fortune in almost every way. The gun play is much improved from the first game and more weapons are added making combat more varied. The climbing is also improved, as well as the setpieces. The original did not have many setpieces besides a few large chases and gun fights. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves on the other hand, has aUncharted 2: Among Thieves is a major improvement to Drake's Fortune in almost every way. The gun play is much improved from the first game and more weapons are added making combat more varied. The climbing is also improved, as well as the setpieces. The original did not have many setpieces besides a few large chases and gun fights. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves on the other hand, has a helicopter shooting at you while you are in a collapsing building, or making your way to the front of a train and crashing it in the Himalaya's. The story is great as well, taking you to many different places and introducing many new characters like Chloe Frazer. Not many negatives here, although I did feel that the monastery sequence dragged because of the game throwing wave after wave of enemies after you. In the end, a good game, just not a perfect one either, though it gets pretty close.… Expand

    I played the Remastered version of Among Thieves as part of the Nathan Drake Collection on PS4. I enjoyed the first one but Uncharted 2 is an improvement on it in every way. It’s still got the fun Indiana Jones adventure style, witty dialogue, interesting characters and engaging gameplay but has much better graphics (even for a remastered game that is over a decade old, this ice canyons inI played the Remastered version of Among Thieves as part of the Nathan Drake Collection on PS4. I enjoyed the first one but Uncharted 2 is an improvement on it in every way. It’s still got the fun Indiana Jones adventure style, witty dialogue, interesting characters and engaging gameplay but has much better graphics (even for a remastered game that is over a decade old, this ice canyons in the Himalayas were absolutely gorgeous even now), varied locations and loses some of the more annoying game mechanics.     So after not liking the action parts in Uncharted 1 they nailed the balance between riddles, action, video sequences and climbing by a lot. Its way more fun to play and has a good story in it with a lot of characters.

    I still dont like the actiongameplay in its core but its way more comfortable (more grenades, more weapons against the spawning enemies). On the Story only the big enemy isnt that interesting and the bossfight is a little bit lame, as in the game before.

    But all in all its way better than Part 1 and a good Action-Adventure.    … Expand

However people hold it to such a high standard that makes it seem like it’s a ‘god tier’ game. I believe the beginning of the game sets up an amazing story and gameplay. Starting drake as wounded and desperately trying to escape a wreaked train. Then presenting the previous events leading to this climax. However, once the player gets back to this moment after rend-acting the previous events, not only does the narrative ‘drag its feet’ but so does the game play. Throwing enemies that are difficult in the sense that they ‘take a lot of damage and can throw a lot of damage’, this infuriated my overall experience with this title. Which is unfortunate because the first half of the game is just magnificent but the ‘stretched out’ last half of this experience really put the game down for me due to it making me more focused on the negatives of this game than it’s amazing positives… Expand

    -A lot of REALLY annoying bugs like the one on the towers where you need to go across a wooden plank. There are two snipers, if you don't kill both immediately then one of them despawns and you can't proceed. You'll be forced to restart the mission.
    -Shooting feels slow, roll and cover always goes in conflict when you try to rush a little, and in some cases you NEED to play like that, otherwise you get killed.
    -In general the game feels like it's too scripted and some areas are exaggerated as hell, like the run on the train or the fight against many armored enemies.

    Game shines in many things and it's great considering it as a game from 2009, but my experience with it was a pain in the ass most of the time.    … Expand

El Episodio y la aventura más oscura, fría, violenta y frenética de Uncharted, y mi videojuego favoritos de todos los tiempos, la historia es un in media res que inicia con Nathan Drake, colgando de un Tren, disparado y ensangrentado, y tras recuperar una Phurba (daga ritual tibetana), Nathan recuerda como llegó hasta ahí, y resulta que tras encontrar el dorado, Nathan decidió tomarse unas vacaciones en el Caribe, y allí se encuentra con un antiguo socio y colega llamado: Harry Flynn, y le dice que necesita su ayuda para un negocio que tiene con un cliente de asaltar un museo en Turquía con la ayuda también de un antiguo interés romántico llamado que es otra chica llamada: Chloe Frazer, y el interés del cliente es conseguir una lampará que transportó Marco Polo para el mismo Gengis Khan, y al llegar al museo Nate descubre que lo que transportó Marco Polo conduce a la ciudad perdida de Shambhala y a la piedra Cintamani, pero por desgracia Harry traiciona a Nathan en el museo y por su culpa es llevado a la cárcel de Turquía y está ahí por tres meses hasta que llega Víctor Sullivan y paga su libertad condicional con la ayuda de Chloe Frazer que al parecer está de lado de Nate, y los tres deciden competir contra Harry Flynn y su Cliente que es temible Villano Ruso de: Zorán Lazarevic, por la piedra Cintamani en Shambhala, y entonces se van a Borneo a ver otra pista de Marco Polo a Shambhala, al final la encuentran junto a la Phurba del inicio del juego y está en Nepal la siguiente pista, y después fueron capturados en Borneo por Harry Flynn, y cuando estuvo apunto de enviárselos a Lazarevic, Chloe se interpuso recibiendo un balazo en el brazo pero les dio tiempo de Nate y Sully de escapar y cuando estaban en un precipicio Sully le dice a Nate que esta vez no va ha participar en esta búsqueda a Shambhala, y que vaya solo junto a Chloe a Nepal, y después se fue solo junto a Chloe a Nepal, y allí notó que la capital de Nepal está en Guerra y con la llegada de Lazarevic las cosas empeoraron, y en medio de varios tiroteos en la ciudad, enfrentarse a un Helicóptero, y otras cosas peligrosas en Nepal, se reencuentra con Elena FIsher, junto a un camarografó llamado: Jeff, que le dice a Nate que Elena está en Nepal, por un reportaje a Zorán Lazarevic, y después de conocerse con Chloe, se van junto al templo de Nepal y después de que se quedaran afuera esperando Elena y Jeff, Nathan y Chloe van al templo donde oculta la ubicación de Shambhala, y tras pasar varios acertijos, y algunas trampas, logran encontrar la ubicación de Shambhala, pero después llegan los hombres de Lazarevic y después de haberle disparado a Jeff, llega Harry Flynn junto a Lazarevic, que tras conocerse cara a cara Nathan Drake con Zoran Lazarevic tras quitarle el mapa donde está la ubicación de Shambhala, le ordena a Flynn que mate a Nate y a Elena y Chloe se la lleva a un Tren, pero Nate y Elena logran escapar, gracias a un puñetazo que le metio Elena a Flynn, y luego corren y logran escapar, y después de todo eso, Nate piensa rescatar a Chloe del Tren, y tras invadir el Tren, derribar varios vagones, enfrentarse otra vez con un helicóptero y enfrentarse a otro hombre de Lazarevic, se reencuentra con Chloe, pero descubre que ella no quería ser rescatada, y en medio de la discusión le disparan a Nate en el estomago y resultó de ser Harry Flynn, que con la ayuda de Chloe logra escapar pero Harry manda a los hombres de Lazarevic a matar a Nate, pero entonces Nathan encontró unos barriles explosivos que Nate, les dispara y el tren se descarrila y nos lleva a prácticamente el inicio del juego, y después de recuperar la Phurba, Nate se enfrenta a varios hombres de Lazarevic, y tras derrotarlos Nathan va moribundo y ensangrentado por el nevado del Himalaya, y estuvo a punto de morir si no fue que lo recogio un nativo de una aldea Tibetana llamado Tenzin, que le cura la herida, lo abriga, y lo lleva devuelta con Elena, y lo lleva con un alemán que trabajó para los Nazis llamado: Karl Shaffer, que le dice a Nate que debe seguir con la busqueda de la piedra cintamani, y lo manda junto a tenzin a ver el peligro de la piedra tras estar en una cueva con Tenzin y enfrentarse a unos monstruos de nieve bien raros, escapan de la cueva y ven que Lazarevic y sus hombres invadieron la aldea de Tenzin, y secuestraron a Shaffer, entonces tras enfrentarse a los hombres de Lazarevic en su aldea y a un tanque, Nate y Elena se disponen a rescatarlo, y al final lo encuentran en un monasterio y en su lecho de muerte le dice a Nate que la puerta secreta a shambhala está en ese monasterio y debe encontrarla antes que lazarevic o sino el se volverá ultra poderoso y nadie lo podrá detener, entonces logran encontrar la entrada secreta a Shambhala, pero Lazarevic después lo encuentran también y descubren que Chloe traicionó a Lazarevic entonces mandá a Harry Flynn a que obligue a Nate… Expand

    A truly breathtaking achievement by Naughty Dog. The game is mixture of pure adrenaline filled action set pieces and gorgeous puzzle sequences. And the white snow of the Himalayas which serve as the back drop for much of the game is mesmerising.

    Bajo mi punta de vista, el punto más álgido de la saga Uncharted llega cuando sale esta pieza maestra de las coberturas y los tiros en tercera persona. Bebe mucho de los Gears y de Prince of Persia, pero en mi opinión es mejor que los juegos en los que se inspiró y es el mejor de las 4 entregas de su saga.

    This is real game. It has great puzzles, great action and a great story. If you want to start playing Uncharted you should start with this one because I think this is the best Uncharted game! (Sometimes it can be hard too.)

Basically every gripe I had about Uncharted 1 was improved in the sequel: Beautifully diverse atmospheres keep you going and entertained, unlike in half of Uncharted 1 where it feels like you’re in the same exact building for half of the game. Gunfights were not too difficult but also not easy either, whereas in the 1st game they were alwaysA much refined version of Uncharted 1. Сейчас бы добавить в игру аборигенов, которые не умирают, после того, как потратишь на них всю обойму огнестрельного оружия, но с 2 выстрелов арбалета они дохнут... В свою очередь они с 3-4 ударов выносят тебя (это я про стандартную сложность).

    Последний босс - тупая беготня с расстрелом, так скажем взрывоопасных объектов, однако минутой ранее антагонист стал бессмертным... Концовка меня разочаровала. Как будто взяли финал первой части, чуточку подправили масштабностью и вот вам конец второй части.

    В остальном же всё на уровне, как это принято у Naughty Dog: умные враги, прописанные персонажи, неплохой сюжет, прекрасная музыка.

    С геймплеем не всё так однозначно. Всё те же проблемы с укрытием, когда игра не понимает, за какой столб или камень ты хочешь спрятаться, из-за чего тебя убивают. Надеюсь, ни только у меня огромная ненависть к веревкам с которых нужно раскачиваться и прыгать. Я конечно понимаю, что нужно было разнообразить игровой процесс, но мне и в первой части проблем с ними хватило, несмотря на то, что таких мест очень мало.

    По поводу озвучки, однозначно оригинал с субтитрами. В 2020 сносно играется, поэтому если у вас завалялся 1 десяток часов и вы играли в первую часть, то милости прошу. А я пошёл проходить 3 часть...    … Expand

    More of an interactive movie than a game, it's fun and visually amazing, but not very challenging. Most of the time you dont even need to think about where to go or what to do, you just walk ahead and the game guides you to the next location. The locations are rich, the story is a lot better than the last game, and it is a great time. I just wish you had more options for the gameplay.

    Sinceramente me ha encantado... fue el juego por el que compre la ps3 y ahora que estoy jugando al remastered en ps4 pro no lo recordaba tan bueno.

    Una historia fantástica, un doblaje sublime y una banda sonora fabulosa.

    OK. This is such a breathtaking game. Simply amazing. Great balance between story - adventure - some shooting. Totally cinematic, Hollywood like masterpiece. Downside - last chapter. Definitely disappointing for me and a little bit rushed. My expectations were different but still ! Finished game with mouth open. My very very top game of all time. Love it.

While not perfect, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is a perfect example of how to take a solid foundation in the first game and polish it to a gleam. Regarded as one of the greatest video games of all times, Uncharted 2 is full of wit, action, and exciting set pieces and environments.
    STORY: Nathan Drake is approached by an old friend, Harry Flynn, and Drake's ex-girlfriend, Chloe Frazer, about a job to steal an old oil lamp that belonged to Marco Polo. This oil lamp holds a blank piece of paper and a blue resin that when burned, illuminates the paper to show that Marco Polo found the ancient city of Shambala, which contains a large sapphire called the Cintimani Stone. Harry betrays Drake, because he's actually working with a mercenary name Lazaraveic. The Cintimani stone is actually sap from the tree of life, which grants those who eat it incredible strength and youth.
    The story is very well executed, interlaced throughout in a way that it never feels jarring. The acting from the characters brings it all together, since every single performance is great.
    GRAPHICS:
    This is a very good looking game, even in comparison to the modern standards. Environments are rich and detailed, with a lot of visual clarity. Character animations hold up okay, yet they can feel very jumpy and weird. There isn't a whole lot more to say here; it runs at a rock-solid framerate, and the graphics don't look horrible.
    GAMEPLAY:
    Despite the numerous improvements to the gunplay and action, the climbing and traversal methods actually feel worse than the first game. I encountered multiple instances of trying to do a certain action, and it not doing the action, or going in a different direction leading to an annoying death.
    The gunplay, on the other hand, has been significantly improved. It's more precise, more satisfying, with good quality of life improvements, like being able to throw grenades while aiming your gun. The Uncharted series has helped me think more tactically and helped me improve my aiming, giving a real sense of progression as you get better at each firefight. The encounters themselves can also be very creative, putting you and enemies into situations that can unfold in very different ways. One in particular puts you on a tower, with around 7 or so other towers in front of you separated by a wooden plank bridge, each of those towers having a sniper in them, and also a guy with a rocket launcher. Your goal is to take out each of the snipers, but you can also make your job easier by taking out the rocket launcher guy first, which will then trigger an explosion from his ammo and take out several of the snipers.
    However, I do have one problem. some of the fights have weird boundaries, which don't allow you to progress without taking out every enemy. In the aforementioned sniper fight, some men are also trying to cross the bridge. If you try to cross the bridge before you take them all out, you will hit a kill wall and have to start the entire fight over. It's a very frustrating feature to what is otherwise a very well made combat system.
    SOUNTRACK:
    The soundtrack of Uncharted: Drake's fortune was absolutely incredible, and Uncharted 2 is no different. You have a wonderful sounding orchestra punctuated by giant Tibetan Temple horns of all things, which gives such an amazing atmosphere, enhancing every scene it touches.
    Uncharted did it's best to improve on everything the first game did, and it came very close to doing so. Despite some very annoying platforming controls and weird boundaries, Uncharted 2 is a game that has stood against the test of time very well, and deserves to be the standout title of the last generation it is.    … Expand

    This game is absolute masterpiece, i just finished it five minutes ago... yes.. in 2020.
    Its even better than first Uncharted. Story is awesome, environment is epic, shooting is easy to learn.
    This is definitely a MUST PLAY game.

    A great game, worth playing for pretty much anyone. This also means it is similar to all recent major action games, but a very nice flow of action and story make it stand out as pretty much the best of the bunch. If you like action movies this is the game for you

It was still great and way beyond Uncharted 1, but i just felt better playing the sequels (excluding Lost Legacy). This game is great: it's good graphics, way better mechanics, even better cast performance, new characters with one of the best lines and scenes in the whole franchise. Phenomenal pacing and areas, good plot twists. All this things lead up to a true masterpiece i really enjoyed. The game felt refreshing compared to the prequel to the way it was the best Uncharted for me until i replayed the next entry. Greg Edmundson's soundtrack was as always awesome and made this "Uncharted feeling" while playing through the game. My favourite parts of the game were Borneo and Nepal nearly being the best in the franchise right before UC3's Plane and Desert. It's a really good game overall and i will recommend it to everyone.… Expand

    I remember when I first played Uncharted 2 on my old PS3 and I just fell in love with the game and with the characters. Even though I played it around 8 years ago, I still remember how this game changed mine and everyone's view of how games and graphics developed to a imaginable point, as Uncharted 2 was just gorgeous and still is. Stealth is finally a viable option, and the game keeps putting you in different situations against enemies that it'll never get old like it does in the first game.     Tied for my favorite game of all time. One of the best adventure games ever made if not the best. I will never get tired of Uncharted and it's a must have if you own a PS3 or a PS4.

    Graphically stunning, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is, first of all, an interactive adventure, one that feels like a movie and even has a storyline of a movie. Most gameplay situations have been tailored in order to stun the player with originality and identification, and the end result is absolutely amazing.

    Among Thieves is all about constant movement. And even movement on top of movement. It grabbed me from the beginning and didn't let go for twelve hours. Once I finished, all I could think about was playing it again. More than a defining game for the PS3, Uncharted 2 is a defining game of this console generation.
