    The framerate is atrocious! It really distracted me from what is otherwise a solid sequel to the original. Some of the soldier sound effectsThe framerate is atrocious! They sound like the soldiers from Metal Gear Solid on the original Playstation. Clearly very little time and effort was put in this HD re-release. Who signed off on this?     First of all i have to admit that (as a hardcore Splinter Cell fan) this game is amazing yet on any other platform. I have played PC versionFirst of all i have to admit that (as a hardcore Splinter Cell fan) this game is amazing yet on any other platform. I have played PC version on an FX 5500 back in time without any new generation gfx card shadow problems and it was amazing, played on an original Xbox and i was shocked and played on Xbox 360 as well, thanks to backwards compatibility, without any bugs or problems and finally i decided to purchase and download this brilliant title to my PS3 to play on an HD TV with 16:9 ratio and some other HD benefits. First thing i have noticed in the game was the problem about the shadows when you move the camera or move the Sam himself. Blinking and disappearing shadows are something you don't want to encounter in the remake of a classic game because you expect developers to optimize the game carefully for the PS3 platform but no, they didn't do that. This looks like a very poor port of PC version of the game and yes they have announced that this a PC port. Very poor port i have to say. Apart from the visual bugs, sound effects and the soundtrack is a bit buggy also. Oh i forgot to mention framerate issues as well, no kidding 2004 title suffers from frame rate issues. If you want to play Pandora Tomorrow without any problems on a seventh generation platform, just get the original Xbox version and (if you have hard drive) play it on an Xbox 360. Avoid the PS3 version at all costs.… Expand

Anyway this is not the way to play Pandora Tomorrow. It's ugly, it feels last gen, the enemy ai feels like a zombie game, and the maps are soulless and empty. Just play this on Xbox or PC if you have a chance. Originally I had this at a 2 but in all honesty it's a 0. There's is absolutely nothing here of redeemable value and everyone should avoid this at all cost. This was a lazy cash in that could've sank a franchise if given the opportunity. Luckily most people had played it by the time it hit the PS3. It's still a frustratingly awful experience that no one should have to go through again. If you own the trilogy, skip right to Chaos Theory after the OG… Expand
