    It's nice to see a spinoff take a step in the right direction. It's also nice to see a Borderlands game use actual humor instead of memes. I'm patiently awaiting the second episode and keeping my fingers crossed that they keep up the good work.

    Tales from The Borderlands shows that it has experienced writers behind it. It is interesting, sometimes funny and sometimes bloody – just what the doctor ordered for a good pastime. [Jan 2015, p.72]
