    pretty standard stuff but it is fun. The formula doesn't change very much, but for a small price that doesn't matter much. And the game is pretty short as well.

    Swords and Soldiers is a blast from beginning to end. It DOES feel a little contrived at times, with the formula not changing very much from mission to mission (Get new power. Use it to beat this mission. Cue cutscene). However, the action doesn't ever really feel like it stagnates, and missions can be completed quickly allowing it to be digested in bite-sized chunks, also making it aSwords and Soldiers is a blast from beginning to end. It DOES feel a little contrived at times, with the formula not changing very much from mission to mission (Get new power. Use it to beat this mission. Cue cutscene). However, the action doesn't ever really feel like it stagnates, and missions can be completed quickly allowing it to be digested in bite-sized chunks, also making it a great mobile choice. It's an interesting spin on the RTS genre, with the 2D perspective.… Expand
