Play UKThe PSN title will remain the preserve of retro fans, and those who prefer either a simpler or more affordable game than Street Fighter II's bigger and better sequel. [Issue#176, p.95]

Fortunately for everyone, Street Fighter’s core gameplay still prevails and that is really all fighting games are about.

SSFIITHDR is by no means a bad game, but to release this in Europe just hours before the Street Fighter IV launch is just inconsiderate, and Capcom have managed to outmaneuver themselves. However, there's lots of exciting fighting to be had in this game, and the graphics look just like we imagined that they did back in the days.

That doesn't mean the online play is perfect. In fact, many people have reported matchmaking issues and assorted glitches. Matchmaking shouldn't be a problem when playing with friends via invites (on either PSN or XBL), but when playing random players it's a mixed bag.
