    this should tottaly be T or ill be pissed off. this looks so awsome and iv really been diying to play it and im not allowed to play M so yah. This has been on my top priority list to besieds sm3 and halo3. Me and all of my friends in japan have been waitin 4 this chance and have been dying to play this game that should totally be rated

    So fun, definitely worth the rental. Its the closest game I played to the feel of an action movie. Nice locations to play in and gameplay is good.

    Bottom line the story is hot but, the game play is wack...you should just get a John Woo movie and watch that....Face off any oneb

    It could've been better. Overall inferior to max payne... Shoot first, think later gameplay... The opening chapter really captures the John Woo experience. Sadly, dialogue in this game is laughable like all John Woo english dub films. Watching the collector's edition Hard Boiled and playing the game makes you want more than what the game offers.     i have been waiting a long time and will be really ticked off if this game is rated M. it should sooo be rated T because it has been on my top to play list and the game i have been dieing to play. i saw a gameplay demo 4 it and it looked like a T game so im pretty confident.Please be T! i already love this game

    I love this game. It's like being in an action movie and the Matrix like fight scenes are great. It's a unique game that has simple controls, a destructible environment and a John Woo one of a kind setting. No the graphics are not top notch, buy have you ever seen cigarette smoke look so cool in a game before? If you're the type that wants top notch graphics andI love this game.     The story revels in how ridiculous John Woo cinema is. Within the first two minutes your role as the renegade cop on the EDGE is established. How does the gameplay hold up? The game's emphasis on using the environment makes it feel rather imersive.     I rented Stranglehold a while back and the game was fairly decent. The game itself was pretty addicting, good old fashioned crazy shoot-outs. There were lots of explosions, which is always good for my destructive habits. Then you get to the cut-scenes, oh dear god, the cut-scenes. I have to give them credit for the authentic engrish of the main character, but other than that the voicesI rented Stranglehold a while back and the game was fairly decent.     Not a bad game but the gameplay seemed unfinished. The controls didn't work for me. I always did stuff I didn't want to do and never knew exactly how to make sure I'd stay in bullet time as long as possible. I didn't know how to stay out off dodge and defend myself against enemies either. Maybe it's just not my kind of game.

    Fun game, good plot, and its got Tequila! John Woo's film doesn't dissapoint. If you don't know what i'm talking about, then go google "Hardboiled" and watch it. A classic gun-fu type of film. This game is nothing less. Gives you god-like powers, with a life of course (you can't be God, there's only one). Pick it up and play, what can I say. Gameplay is good, at times iffy. But, for a gameFun game, good plot, and its got Tequila! John Woo's film doesn't dissapoint. If you don't know what i'm talking about, then go google "Hardboiled" and watch it.     Where to start, the story isn't bad at all actually was better than I though, I was really into the game always want will be happen next, that's good! I didn't get bored.
    The gameplay well......really hard to play the slow mode is bad, they recycle so many things becoming kinda annoying, sometimes the battle scenes could be better, you can't jump or punch is too limited the things you do,    Where to start, the story isn't bad at all actually was better than I though, I was really into the game always want will be happen next, that's good! I didn't get bored.
    The gameplay well......really hard to play the slow mode is bad, they recycle so many things becoming kinda annoying, sometimes the battle scenes could be better, you can't jump or punch is too limited the things you do, characters should be more human movements, graphics are really bad is like play Matrix in PS2, the actions are not good, glitches, bugs, freezing the game and crash.
    I really hope John Woo can make a new game in the future with a developer can make good game play like a collaboration with Naughty Dog, or Kojima Production.    … Expand

    so much fun its so over the top but thats the point of the game it doesntg have an mazing story bu who cares its really not the point of the game. Just shoot people do backflips and all that its basically a chinese toned down saints row.

    Il Gameplay è tutto sommato ben fatto, lanciarsi su tavoli, scale e lampadari è sempre figo, i comandi sono belli lisci e le abilità speciali sono ben studiate, la grafica pure non è per niente male per un gioco del 2007 e l'enorme distruttibilità degli ambienti rende il tutto più dinamico e "realistico" per quello che si può dire di un gioco in cui un uomo stermina da solo un'esercito di Mafiosi da ogni paese del mondo.    … Expand

    So... i didnt watched the movie but playing though the first level kinda give this game a bad impression. The framerate is low, its ugly, for me the framerate is more a problem than the graphics. The main problem is: all you do is shoot, shoot and shoot! Ok, its cool to see the scenary geting destroyed and flying all over the place, but god! Its so repetitive. And tequila has no charisma.So... i didnt watched the movie but playing though the first level kinda give this game a bad impression.     Its cliche, but i wish it has more than this.
    Also the FOV is so bad, its too close, and thats a problem cause it can gives you headache and motionsickness. Also theres no options to enable subtitles OR even make the camera turn faster(it turns too slow).
    After playing the amazing WET game, geting to that its like a huge deception.
    If you like a repetive and mindless 3 person shooter, thats for you.
    Its playable but its like a dynasty warrior game, just kill, kill and kill.    … Expand
