Feb 14, 2011Spare Parts actually is a 2D jump'n'run with an additional third dimension. The bad camera work spoils the whole fun and the coop mode. Apart from that, the atmosphere, sound and gameplay are pretty well done and also proper for younger gamers.

Feb 7, 2011Frustratingly, there is a perfectly good game lost in there somewhere. It should be a polished, sleek and enjoyable ride. But, the whole things plays like such a rusty old clunker that if you found it on the side of the road, wouldn't even be worth breaking up and selling for spare parts.

Apr 6, 2011After two Harry Potter games, Trivial Pursuit and Create, developers of EA Bright Light confirmed to be anything but brilliant. The entire management of the three dimensions in Spare Parts is terrible and makes the exploration of the stages "slippery" and cumbersome, with hundreds of invisible barriers and obstacles. When it comes to fighting, things get even worse due to some imprecise collisions and a lack of variety. The online multiplayer is also poorly implemented.
