    I've played the other games in this franchise and I like challenging games, but this is an awful game. For a start they have used Xbox controls in a PS3 game which is an instant fail. Secondly the levels are truly repetitive and beyond tedious! You can follow all the rules of the game and it still "magic's-up" an enemy from nowhere to kill you. They have tried to expand on a game mechanicI've played the other games in this franchise and I like challenging games, but this is an awful game. You can follow all the rules of the game and it still "magic's-up" an enemy from nowhere to kill you. They have tried to expand on a game mechanic that isn't strong enough to cope with the improvements; by this I mean you have a weapon wheel now and a fast select, but often when you select a new weapon you can't turn left or fire the weapon for several seconds. Enemies can shoot you through solid objects or even without being there; cul-de-sac = no enemy, turn around and get shot in the back by an enemy who wasn't there a second ago, and who couldn't have got there from anywhere else. Even though you have successfully evaded the enemy, they still know where you are. The game is pretty and that will, unfortunately, be enough for many gamers.… Expand

    Sniper Elite 3 does many things well but his problem is that, combined with things that it does badly, it could be much better.
