Aug 10, 2023This game is very good, like the PS2 games, the control needs improvement but it is good, it has the essence of the original trilogy but there are things that should be improved, that's why the 9.

Jul 28, 2023i Grew up with this game and the others, im just sad it doesn't have the must play on it

Apr 6, 2023Legendary character that executes another great game. This new team really did a good job with sly cooper and his friends. We are still stuck on a cliff hanger but I hope we can come back from it. The game is one of the best in the entries and it lives up to franchise. The story and the way the game plays is excellent ! A great sly cooper game.

Jan 3, 2023Estoy sin palabras con lo increíble que ha resultado este juego y estoy muy feliz, a falta de una palabra mejor, con lo que acabo de experimentar.

Jul 10, 2022Well, this part is weaker than trilogy. Developers ruined the plot and characters, you have less gadgets and abilities than in trilogy. Without these things I can't play this game and enjoy non-stop, but it's playable. Getting the platinum was some challenge, but I did it. Because of game flaws I spent there less time than in trilogy.

Jun 27, 2022Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time recaptures the magic from the previous games. Hopefully a fifth one is on the way.

Apr 26, 2022As someone who grew up with the sly games, I really enjoyed this one. It took awhile for me to finish it but I enjoyed the story, characters, and gameplay alot.

Dec 2, 2021Disappointed in this one my least favorite in the series but theirs fun to be had here.
-
Jul 24, 2021Dropped the game after the first 3 hours, the controls are janky and the dialogue just isn't that entertaining. Was bored out of my mind playing it, defo does not hold up to the original trilogy.

Jul 15, 2021My feelings for this game are complicated. This really is a pretty good game, but some of the changes they made from the PS2 games weren't the best. Seeing some of Sly's ancestors was cool, but some of the writing wasn't as good. I am a bit mixed on the art style for the game. Overall, this is a good game, I just don't always know how I feel about it.

May 12, 2021I can't really see any negatives in this game, I love it, so does most people, a masterpiece in the platformer genre.
I came back to give it a high score as apparently Sony only care about game scores on Metacritic, so I am here to support the game and hopefully help get the series to continue. -

Sep 11, 2020The whole game is very smooth, smooth animations, interface, a lot of FPS.
In general, game is not very different from the Sucker Punch trilogy, both in gameplay and plot, there is also a lot of boring long briefings between missions, in the end I could not watch it all and skipped these.
That's a worthy sequel. -
Jun 21, 2020Graphics looks amazing and gameplay is great. I highly recommend this game.

Feb 11, 2020I love charecters and music.
Controls are AMAZING!
And gameplay... I LOVE IT! -
Jan 16, 2020With a world re-designed, but following the same good looking platform style of the last three games, Thieves in Time brings back a good story and some adventure vibes for the player at a generation where FPS are more important than a classic gamestyle presented by our master thief

Nov 19, 2019This game had years of hype and expectations to live up to, and it really didn’t
There’s not much to be found here apart from occasional funny moments
The final boss is laughably easy and uninteresting
They should have left the Sly trilogy alone and not made this teased and yet ultimately unnecessary game -

Dec 18, 2018definitely the oddball of the sly games, thieves in time involves time travel, cuz that's never been used in a video game! sly meets his ancestors and overall, it's ok. it is a bit gimmicky, but the leveldesign is extremely fun, and the new art style sanzaru introduced is pretty nice. it's definitely not great, but it's not so awful that you'd give it to oj simpson for christmas! its alright.

Aug 26, 2017After playing it it was not bad of a game in fact, the game has so much more in it then the other Sly games, well in a way, thankfully it is a sandbox game witch gives it more to do in the game, i hoping to see Sly Cooper again someday. but that movie though : ).

Jan 27, 2017Eh, not bad at all, but it has some flaws, It was pretty dang good, but, it feels very different, I don't really like the Voice acting for other characters except Bently, Murray and Sly, And also the fact that in Sly 2, The mechanics were outstanding, In this, 0.1% better.
In conclusion, Sly 4 is amazing, but with average flaws -

Nov 19, 2015Lots of game play. Fun playing all the characters. Large hubs to explore on each level. Can be a little repetitive at times. Story line is entertaining if predictable. A good addition to the Sly Cooper line.

Sep 17, 2013Sly is back and we applaud that, kind of. The game is outdated, too simple and too childish. It’s a good deal that you can buy the PS3 and Vita version for the same price, so that offers twice the amount of fun.

Official PlayStation Magazine BeneluxApr 22, 2013The return of Sly Cooper not only signals the return of a classic franchise, but also the return of a classic, almost forgotten genre: the 3D-platformer. Fans can rejoice, because it feels like Sly never truly left the building. [April 2013, p.71]
-
Games Master UKApr 13, 2013Sly hits the current generation with charm, variety and humour in spades. An excellent return. [May 2013, p.80]
