It's a solid effort from a veteran of arcade PSN titles, and unless it's a part of some meta joke from Creat Studios about it flying under the radar, it's definitely a title which deserves a little more love than it's received.
  2. SkyFighter might not be deep enough for a retail release, but it works perfectly as a downloadable game. The missions are perfect in length that and suitable for either long sessions or short bursts.

Like morning after pizza, Sky Fighter is more enjoyable than it has any right to be. [Issue#51, p.117]

SkyFighter is a fun game to play but doesn't stay fresh for a long time. However, with all the possibilities you should be able to enjoy the gameplay for a solid seven hours. The multiplayer is very chaotic and you won't recognize your airplane between all the bullets and planes.

Incredible control system, excellent throw-back to old skool 16-Bit dog fight games and great graphics and sound, too. My only criticism is that it's just too crazy in multiplayer. We had 4 players going bananas on there, but it gets a little too tough when there's a lot going on. Full Review »

Reminds me of an old PC game called Sopwith. The difficulty level is perfect. I was able to complete it without being frustrated but it was challenging. The missions varied enough to keep you going until the end. Couldn't stop playing it until I finished it. Full Review »
