    Skate 3 has excellent mechanics, the grip on the grind or the physics of the maneuvers are very well done. Of course, a game has its flaws, like bugs and so on. But skate 3 has full physics and a killer gameplay style.

    Honestly this game may be old but I'll never grow bored of it. Skating around pulling off sick tricks. If you didn't grow up with this game I am sorry that happened to you

    This is my favourite absolute favorite game because it is fun and extremely nostalgic and the memories from this game will always remain

    This is just such a good game. Soundtrack is sick, controls are great and gameplay is better than any skating game I've ever played. It never takes itself too seriously and it never gets boring. I cannot wait for skate 4. Dude please buy this game if you can, it's so cheap and so good.

    spent 100s of hours with this game, and it was all worth it.
    a complete shame skate 4 may never happen.

    Made the craziest memories with that game, imo one of the most enjoyable games ever made and the first game I spent money on DLCs with no regrets. Def the best skate game I've ever played not comparable to any games of the Tony Hawk series. Still waiting for Skate 4 tho :(

    É um jogo incrível, oferece uma experiencia completa e necessária para um jogo de skate, a customização do personagem é ótima, só faltou atualização nas peças de roupas, as missões ficam meio repetitivas mas é o que tem, não são desafios surreais então mesmo sendo parecidas elas são boas de fazer pois são feitas com movimentos praticáveis no mundo real, a presença de alguns pro skaters éÉ um jogo incrível, oferece uma experiencia completa e necessária para um jogo de skate, a customização do personagem é ótima, só faltou atualização nas peças de roupas, as missões ficam meio repetitivas mas é o que tem, não são desafios surreais então mesmo sendo parecidas elas são boas de fazer pois são feitas com movimentos praticáveis no mundo real, a presença de alguns pro skaters é muito bom para o jogo, os gráficos é que pecam um pouco mas nada que atrapalhe em muito na experiencia, o mapa é vasto e quase tudo é praticável, é um jogo que ansiamos pela sua continuação e vale muito a pena… Expand

    Skate 3 is an incredibly fun game that you will play for 50 hours then get bored with it and then come back to it.
    Yes the game is a glitch fest but that is what makes it so much fun.
    There is so much to do in this game, you can make your own skate park, jump down a building into a thrash can, do amazing tricks on your skate board, or just go around beating up people with your skate    Skate 3 is an incredibly fun game that you will play for 50 hours then get bored with it and then come back to it.

    I want to love Skate 3, and heck it has everything it should need to be a great game. The first time I played this game I absolutely loved it, I thought it was an solid all around improvement over Skate 1 and 2 due to the new "hardcore" physics. However, any fun that is to be had is quickly lost once you are required to perform multiple tricks in one location in order to pass a challenge.I want to love Skate 3, and heck it has everything it should need to be a great game. The first time I played this game I absolutely loved it, I thought it was an solid all around improvement over Skate 1 and 2 due to the new "hardcore" physics. However, any fun that is to be had is quickly lost once you are required to perform multiple tricks in one location in order to pass a challenge. This is when the fun killing NPC's walk in and destroy the game like a wrecking ball. No joke, the NPC's will crowd around any object you need to trick off of, or grind on once you start doing a challenge. At one point in time, I literally had every single NPC in an entire vicinity for where I was at in the game crowding around a rail I had to do multiple grinds on in order to beat a challenge, and their crowding made me continuously fail due to the fact that I kept smacking into the NPC's. By the way, when you accidentally run into an NPC in this game, they will sometimes chase after you, prevent you from respawning, and knock you down yet again afterwards. Worse yet, they all seem to wander around the object you need to trick on aimlessly, even after you restart the challenge. So thanks to the god awful AI, you wind up losing challenges. This becomes frustrating all too quickly due to the fact that getting around the NPC's quickly becomes the greatest challenge in the game. So there. This game might be fantastic if you unlock everything right away and simply play in free skate the entire time. However, if you are looking for a changing and/or fun game to play outside of free skate, look elsewhere. Pros: - Fantastic graphics. No joke, they're top notch, big improvement over the original skate and skate 2. - Improved physics, you can now chose 3 difficulty settings for the physics, the "hardcore" setting makes the game noticeably more realistic - Generally good level design, an improvement over Skate 2. - Good single player... if only you could enjoy it. Cons: - The fact that the NPC's (non-playable characters) are able to destroy the fun factor of the single player portion of the game. - The fact that EA clearly enjoys nickel and diming you for every single piece of online related content they can.… Expand

    Hands down the best skating game of the last 10 years.Seriously if you have a ps3 and like skating games you how it to yourself to buy this game new or used or on the psn store because it is that good.

    It's a funny and entertaining game. The story is just a background for the fun so...it's cool. This game is not amazing but it's far from being bad. I would give it an 8/10 if it the game were free of bugs...but it's not! It's infested (nothing compromising, but stressing sometimes)

Skate 3 is a fantastic sandbox skating game with great and rewardingly laid out challenges in the single player campaign, it takes everything that made the original game so fantastic and builds upon it tenfold.     Needs to be more skateboarding games, everyone wants a Skate 4, and there is a reason why. This game I've owned for 5 years, I still keep playing it almost every day, it's just such a classic, the controls are smooth once you get used to them, the customization adds your unique style and creating and downloading parks creates infinite possibilities.

    I bought this game well over a year ago and I enjoyed it for about a moth and then I never touched it after that, mostly because I got bored, the game play is very repetitive the controls are ok but not much improved from skate 2.

    I've had this game for a couple of years now yet i still play it on a regular basis to this day. That says a lot about how good the gameplay in this game is.

    To start i do not love this game because of its story,its actually quite awful. I love this game because of the enjoyment of the gameplay and how much fun it is to just skate around the world.     This game i believe has the controls down perfectly,compared to the likes of the tony hawks series the controls feel realistic they are also more challenging therefore actually giving the feeling of achievement when you land difficult combos.

    To be honest i could play this game non stop its just so fun. if you haven't already played it i seriously suggest picking it up right away you wont be disappointed. Now i am just waiting on Skate 4, lets hope its in development.    … Expand

    Skate 3 is great if you have the patience to shift through youtube walkthroughs on a regular basis while playing (otherwise you'll probably never beat it). Didn't give it a 10 because:
    - no splitscreen, which was really fun in the PS2 Tony Hawk games
    - the map is useless, practically there is no map, which means you have to teleport to the events rather than skate to them.     One of the most funniest skateboarding games I've ever played. Skate 3 may be full of glitches, but they are awesome. If you love skateboarding, buy this instead of the recent Tony Hawk's games. It's full of slapstick comedy that will keep you playing for days

    I don't think this game is meant to play for the actual story or game itself... I mean, I guess doing the actual skateboarding stuff is cool and all but the real fun is doing "Hall of Meat" and jumping off cliffs and buildings trying to break EVERYTHING and doing the helicopter....or some ridiculous motion while spinning until you hit the ground. It's really fun, especially if you switchI don't think this game is meant to play for the actual story or game itself...     its a good game. it needs to upgrade maps once in a while its the best skate game around as a semi realistic skateing game. you can pull off some amazing tricks. as a personal skate boarding fa its a must buy.

    The game costed thirty bucks for me, and it lasted me over 3 years (no joke). This game could easily be worth 100 dollars and I'd still buy it. A must-buy

    This game is incredibly fun, Especially with friends. It may not have splitscreen but it's so much fun to challenge your friend to a challenge. The storyline is pretty weak but what do you expect from a sports game. The "missions" can be very difficult at times but offer a lot of replay value. There is a massive open world map waiting to be explored! !!9/10!!

    I love skating and such and i had just bought a ps3 so i wanted skate 3 and i got it
    when i first started it up in the intro of the game i noticed that the gameplay was very fluid and movement was great.
    The hall of meat challenges were simply cool and challenging sometimes and you could teleport to those locations and play around for a bit there. There is a huge world where you skate    I love skating and such and i had just bought a ps3 so i wanted skate 3 and i got it

    There is a huge world where you skate around in so that is a plus
    And the coolest in m opinion is the skate park editor.
    You can make enormous parks in this.

    Despite all those good things there are a few flaws.
    Like you can randomly fall to the ground or your board will glitch in your body but
    overall it is a really awesome game with good gameplay,graphics for it's time

    Atech66 Feb 24, 201110 If you liked 1 loved 2 then 3 is more of 2 with a few additions. and thats not a bad thing. Excellent controls and graphics. My son wanted it and its a game i can actually enjoy watching him play. But they really screwed the pooch removing coop Hall of meat.. why o why.
    7 for leaving some of the best of skate 2 out..

    Between the consistent improvement of the game's core concepts, and the Black Box's encouraged experimentation, Skate remains in a genre all on its own, but only time will tell if continued re-iteration will cause this still fresh series to stagnate.

    While this latest title doesn’t take any huge risks, I would argue that’s a good thing. Skate has always been one of those rare games where you can just aimlessly play with no goals or objectives.
