    At times, it felt phoned-in, unoriginal, and fairly buggy, though the visuals and multi-path levels shine. [Apr 2012, p.87]

    The mechanics are solid, the quest is meaty, the graphics and animation are beautiful, and the world is a pure pleasure to spend time in. Plus, we're talking about a game based on the voyage of discovery of a badass little girl with an octopus for an arm – what's not to like?

    Scarygirl really isn't worth the $10. I expect that if you're a loyal follower of the Scarygirl franchise and of Jurevicius, then you'll probably get something out of it.
