    This game is underrated and does not deserve the low scores its receiving. Hopefully I can provide a decent enough review that allows people to steer clear of this game or pick it up based on my review. The first thing I would like to say is its my opinion the low scores are rolling in almost exclusively for two reasons. The first thing I would like to say is its my opinion the low scores are rolling in almost exclusively for two reasons. Both reasons go hand in hand and that is the developers of this game made a speculation and that speculation is not paying out. The first gamble and unwise decision this team made was to turn the Sacred series into a reinvention of guantlet and probably they thought they could get away with this by clearly advertising this is an aracade hack and slash. Games like this used to be big but that is the past and clearly if you look around your street arcades do not exist and I think this developer thought maybe there was an untapped market for a Guantlet style game on consoles afterall multiplayer is still a huge concept. Unfortunately I think this gamble is a fail, most people crave next generation appeal and so this is a no go. On top of that they gambled that Sacred 3 fans would enjoy this change. I mean rock bands do it- change their sound every album- now its the way things are evolving and so I think this developer talked themselves into trying a new gamestyle. Well two major gambles in one game and clearly the fans are not understanding what this developer was going for and it is translating into huge negative scoring and thats unfortunate because this actually is a fairly decent solid and fun game with lots of replayability. My opinion is if this game was released in the ps2 days it would have been a huge success but in todays crowded market of next generation appeal there is not much reason to like this game. Its oldschool in approach and its getting punished for it. Ok so here is my advice, if you still enjoy retro gaming this game is a game you should try the nostalgia might be for you. For everyone else I think you will be disappointed even though its clearly labeled as arcade. You know theres only so many times you can remake a game or movie before its going to be immediately prejudged just like this game became victim of. But without question this game does not deserve its scores it is not broken nor brutal its just misplaced.… Expand

    I was excited to try out Sacred 3 at first, since I had heard good things about the previous games. The more I played it, the more the cracks showed, and the more disappointment set in.
