Red Johnson's Chronicles: One Against All is for puzzle lifers. The puzzles are intense, complicated, and obtuse. To top it all off, you attack these puzzles back to back without much levity or downtime to let your brain recover making it even less friendly.

Even though Lexis went further on several fronts for this new episode of the series, it hasn't always been in the right direction... The story for instance, lacks the sense of mystery that blessed the original, and some game mechanics seem artificially harder. But the charm of the city of Metropolis still works, and we'll be looking forward the third episode.

Some good puzzles. But terrible tempo, lip sync and story.

The pacing is too slow at times, dragged down by excessive dialogue, but the $10 price tag is a welcome price point. Overall I found One Against All to be a nice change of pace from other games but there is still plenty of room for improvement.
