Feb 27, 2012A neat idea transformed into a nice, little game. Agreed, sometimes it does get repetitive and frustration lurks around most corners, but in the end you won't regret putting some money and effort into Puddle.

Jan 31, 2012If you are looking for a game that will tax your brain without complicated a control scheme, then Puddle might be the one to quench your puzzle thirst.

Games Master UKMar 14, 2012Simple but surprisingly addictive. [Apr 2012, p.87]

Feb 1, 2012Puddle entertains as much as it frustrates. Some stages you clear at your first try, others you start 40 times or more. But if you are willing to overcome this adversity you`re rewarded with a fascinating physics-based puzzle adventure.

Play UKMar 28, 2012It's quite an enjoyable game, just not a screamingly brilliant one. [Issue#216, p.83]

Feb 23, 2012What we have here is a classic case of (slightly) missed opportunity. With an original concept, impressive gameplay variety, pleasing visuals and music, came a few problems that can be just too much to handle.
-
Mar 7, 2012Despite this Puddle is an original concept, and it can certainly be addictive. It is refreshing to see a game this simple be able to grab a players attention for a number of hours. Enjoyment of the game will definitely depend on the player's ability to handle frustration as it probably could have done with a lower difficulty setting. That being said, if a puzzle game gets you to keep coming back it must be doing something right.

Playstation: The Official Magazine (US)Mar 5, 2012This lack of mercy had us cursing the game, but it also made every completed puzzle a truly satisfying victory. [Apr 2012, p.87]

Feb 24, 2012As a puzzler, Puddle is a fine gaming–snack with great accessibility. Well worth the small price of admission.
-
Official PlayStation Magazine BeneluxMar 4, 2012Two shoulder buttons to tilt the screen left and right are all you need to play Puddle. It looks neat, but Puddle is a little bit too much like a really hard alchemy exam. Too much trial and error for our taste. [March 2012, p.98]
-
Feb 10, 2012Puddle for PSN is a clever, affordable puzzler in need of some subtle tweaks.
-
Playstation Official Magazine UKFeb 28, 2012Clever and beautiful in places, Puddle's just too wet behind the ears to know when its players need a break. [March 2012, p.107]

Feb 3, 2012It seems as if Puddle might have been far more succesful in portable systems, especially in those with motion detection. There are plenty of good ideas behind the game, although the content falls short and doesn't justify the price. A decent game, but not outstanding.

Feb 1, 2012There's a lot to love about Puddle, but its better qualities are often drowned in a sea of frustrations.
