Sep 14, 2014Evolution more than revolution, even if it is not always in the right direction for a Naruto fighting game.
-
Sep 21, 2014Well worth a look if you’re a fan of Naruto or alternative takes on the classic beat-em-up formula, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution offers up a refreshingly unique, albeit flawed, gaming experience.
-
Sep 15, 2014The latest installment of the Ninja Storm franchise has a truly wonderful multiplayer mode. The battles that used to be unbalanced and somewhat chaotic have improved significantly in Revolution. It's just a shame that the single player pales in comparison. Ninja's where invented to fight, not to perform menial tasks around a village... So make sure you have at least one friend to have a blast playing this game with.

Sep 30, 2014Despite some balancing issues, the lack of an engaging main story and the absence of a training option, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution consolidates as a worthy addition to the series, due to the abundance of available characters and references, its seductive visuals, well rounded animations, and above all else, the subtle and positive changes to the fighting mechanics.
-
Sep 29, 2014A minority of fans certainly will keep religiously this new game and has every right to do so, but all of those who care about the future of Naruto in home consoles should be worried about the apparent lack of ideas and profound innovations in the series.
-
Sep 26, 2014While the presentation could have been more robust and gameplay mechanics more refined, it remains a concentrated and entertaining dose of Naruto fanservice, like the developers dropped a hundred different Naruto action figures into your lap and told you to go nuts.
-
Sep 18, 2014As always very cool in every aspect, this new Naruto offers three unmissable stories for the fans. The new "Ninja Tournament" mode is anecdotal, but with a hundred characters and its good gameplay, Revolution will seduce all the fans. Once again.

games(TM)Sep 16, 2014While it's not likely to satisfy anyone looking for deep fighting action, existing fans will be pleased with what's on offer. [Issue#152, p.123]
-
Sep 16, 2014Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution fails to perfect the series just enough to make us warmly recommend its purchase before the final chapter.
-
Sep 15, 2014The new modes are very funny but too short and the free for all battles are a little too messy.
-
Dec 3, 2014As fan service goes, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution has a lot of the trappings you expect from this style of anime game. Unfortunately, it's impenetrable for those of us unfamiliar with the series. And while the gameplay isn't bad, there just isn't enough depth in this game to keep fight fans happy.
-
Sep 23, 2014On a whole, its biggest fault is that it's just adequate. It doesn't matter how well-realized the characters are, if they don't have anything interesting to do.
-
Sep 19, 2014Revolution has failed to take a step away from the shadow of UNS3, and will have to remain all that it looks to be: a filler while we wait for the final main-story instalment.
-
Oct 15, 2014If you are a fan of the game series, you may want to check it out first before making a purchase.
