Oct 27, 2010It goes without saying, but Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 is still just a Naruto game. Full of loose, yet accessible mechanics, the game is a love letter to Naruto fans that seems to forget that it needs to complete its sentences to get its point across.
-
Jan 15, 2011A nice fighting game with great graphics, but the adventure mode is just horrible.
-
Jan 6, 2011Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 is undoubtedly the dream game for any Naruto fan, and manages to capture the colossal battles from the cartoon better than any game before it. For non-fans however, there's a lot of backstory to go through before getting to the meat of the game. The fighting system seems overly simplistic at first, but then requires you to master it fully in order to progress, which might prove frustrating for some players.

Dec 22, 2010If you're not already a fan, it might be time to convert.
-
Oct 26, 2010A flair for the dramatic elevates Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 above its shallow combat.
-
Oct 26, 2010Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 is a cool game but the weak campaign mode tends to ruin a lot. It could be better if they improved more of the mistakes that were made in the first Ultimate Ninja Storm. The only mode is the best improvement that you will find.
-
Oct 25, 2010The combat can be slightly uninvolving at times, and the exploration side of proceedings serves little more than to connect one battle to the next, but the experience as a whole is surprisingly enjoyable.

Oct 21, 2010There will be few fans of Naruto that will find much to gripe about in this game. Its story is huge and detailed, the epic battles with the incredible quick time events will dazzle gamers regardless of their opinion of Naruto and anime in general, and the online fights have hidden depth, but those irritating load screens and the mundane aspects of Story Mode put a large pinch on the glories found within each battle.

Oct 21, 2010Quotation forthcoming.
-
Jan 2, 2011Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 has plenty of fluster and a heap of bluster for fans but little to keep the interest of non-fans and seasoned gamers.
-
Oct 24, 2010While Ninja Storm 2 may look and sound exactly like Naruto, the boy ninja's boundless energy is sadly lacking.
-
Oct 25, 2010The cel-shading is pretty and the fights sometimes spectacular, but it gets old quick.
-
Oct 21, 2010With fantastic production values, and epic combat, Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Storm 2 is a fan dream. Nonetheless, the first part of the game remains tedious, because of some less than inspired game mechanics, that finally disappear later on in favor of the core ones. The game then becomes clearly epic and inspired, the story is magnified, and if you're looking for killer Rasengan or epix Chidori moves, it's the game you want.
-
Oct 21, 2010CyberConnect2 had it all. The storyline is good, the character gallery is impressive and all the powers and animations are just reused from the anime. But when they removed the free city exploration and have too many boring corridors. Without depth Shippuden 2 is just a game for the younger Naturo fans.
-
Dec 22, 2010The story is full of incredible stupid clichés, the dialogue dubbing is just horrifying, and there's not much that made me feel quite so embarrassed as my boss and a coworker walking in on my playing Naruto, in the middle of one of the titular character's strange and tangential rants.
