This is a fun game. So man up and face it, this is a game which is only for fun. It isnt a serious and its not amazing. I cant say I think its fun for more than couple of hours because that would be a lie. Its ok though.

I have played through both MX Unleashed and MX vs ATV unleashed and MX VS ATV is just as fun with a few more features and events with slightly improved graphics. The controls are very good for veterans of these games and as for new comers, you just need to practice because it is a big learning curve at first. The bottom line is this game is fun.

Strictly amature Hour! If there is a worse game on the PS3 I've yet to see it. I bought it because I liked the first person view form the bikes, but each time you crash it resets to a third person view and you need to press the select button 6 times to get it back! Too late for the next corner. Graphics and frame rate are so bad it looks like a very early PS2 game. Don't get me Strictly amature Hour! If there is a worse game on the PS3 I've yet to see it. Considering Rainbow Studios' pedigree of excellent motocross and off-road racers, it isn't a shocker that MX vs. ATV Untamed delivers everything you'd hope for from the first next-gen iteration of the franchise. [Jan 2008, p.84]

"Motorstorm" does off-road racing better than this. So do "Dirt" and "Sega Rally Revo". [Jan 2008, p.94]

MX vs. ATV Untamed is a solid game, but one that will eventually lose its hold on you. If you haven't played an offroad racer in a while, this is the one to get, but don't hold your breath for something that will entertain you for hours and hours on end.
