Mar 18, 2013Motocross action is what the game promises, and motocross action is precisely what it delivers.

May 9, 2012Whilst never breaking any new ground, MUD offers a good chunk of challenging content, coupled with an official licence and solid online mode. It won't convert those who have never played Motocross before, and it does have a few issues, but fans will find lots to like.
-
Feb 26, 2013I commend the developer for including different modes, but their inadequacies reveal a title that doesn't fully develop any one aspect of itself.

Playstation Official Magazine AustraliaJun 12, 2012It's the kind of game you'd hire on a rainy Saturday night because you got to the video shop too late and all the good games were already gone – but then you get it home and it's actually alright. It's plain, simplistic, and totally no-frills, and you'll want to mute the "angry white man" soundtrack immediately, but on the other hand… sick jumps, bro. [June 2012, p79]
-
Jun 1, 2012MUD never attempts something original, spectacular or surprising, and you get the impression that it's settles for just being bog-standard.
-
May 13, 2012The Italians over at Milestone are something of a "motor-sports" experts. The sad thing is that MUD, even though it is quite enjoyable, is not in a position to offer a realistic and authentic Motocross Championship experience.

Playstation Official Magazine UKApr 30, 2012Feels like a two-wheeled Dirt imitator without the polish. [May 2012, p.107]
-
Play UKApr 17, 2012Far more likely to make you fall asleep than feel any excitement. [Issue#217, p.82]
-
PSM3 Magazine UKMay 16, 2012Lacks a strong identity and any real thrills. [June 2012, p.111]
-
Jun 22, 2012With a limited budget and a short development period, Mud FIM Motocross World Championship doesn't have much to offer, even if you are a hardcore fan of Motocross.
-
CD-ActionJun 6, 2012I have no idea why someone decided that MUD is worthy of a 'Triple A' price. The developers couldn't even decide whether they wanted to do an arcade game or a hardcore simulation. [July 2012, p.84]
-
May 24, 2012If Milestone had chosen to make MUD either a full-fledged simulator or an arcade racer, toned down all the in-game advertising and gotten rid of the soundtrack, we could have had an entertaining game. But not even a level set in the Swedish city Uddevalla can save this mess from being a really bad game.
