    A very poor effort in the context of the Motorstorm series. Despite the plethora of options and vehicle customisations, the je ne sais quoi of the franchise is completely lost MS:A. They removed the good - natural themes, track deformation, beautiful vistas - added the bad - generic post-apocalyptic cities, tracks fraught with distracting 'junk', a half-assedly implemented 3DA very poor effort in the context of the Motorstorm series. Despite the plethora of options and vehicle customisations, the je ne sais quoi of the franchise is completely lost MS:A. They removed the good - natural themes, track deformation, beautiful vistas - added the bad - generic post-apocalyptic cities, tracks fraught with distracting 'junk', a half-assedly implemented 3D functionality (it doesn't work in split-screen and has copious 'cross-talk') - and exacerbated what already need fixing - the 'floaty'race physics, über cheesy AI, lack of coöp-able campaign play. All in all, this is a very disappointing MS game; although an okay-ish arcade racer in its own right. 4/10… Expand

    This is in my opinion the worst motorstorm made. There is no need for the story line and it's stupid and odd . The maps get very old fast and the graphics and that great compared to the first one.

    This game is garbage plain and simple, as someone else stated, you can't get into any rhythm from the constant crashes from things littering on the ground. If you're just starting out, get ready for HOURS of frustration as the higher ranks have access to perks that make their cars go faster.

    Troisième épisode Motorstorm qui finit la trilogie du jeu de caisses à cassos en beauté : les précédents étaient beaux, celui-ci n'y déroge pas non plus avec de surcroît des immeubles qui s'écroulent et tout le bordel pendant les courses... ce qui ajoute énormément à la confusion ambiante... déjà très confuse.     Quant au (sale) coup des cinématiques en bandes dessinées, c'est absolument repoussant : vous auriez pu vous abstenir ! Apocalypse est certainement le plus spectaculaire (et agité) des Motorstorm : c'est aussi le plus mauvais sans conteste.    … Expand

    However, even with all those aspects and the insane environments, I found it too hard to overcome the crashing. I've played games in other genres that "yank" players out of the experience, but it's not happened often in the racing arena. With MotorStorm: Apocalypse, it does, and specifically because of the crashes

    While still a bit rough around the edges, MotorStorm: Apocalypse is a unique racing experience that's exciting to look at as well as play, even if that experience is partially neutered online.
