Mar 28, 2011MotoGP 10/11 has a few problems such as touchy controls and a lack of multiplayer options, but the challenging races and deep career mode will leave motorcycle racing fans happy.
-
Mar 22, 2011Monumental Games has added just the amount of changes that the MotoGp series needed, and the result is wonderfully entertaining. Now, if only we could get better graphics next year.
-
Mar 18, 2011It's one of the most exciting series in motorsport, and this year it's got a game to do it justice.
-
Mar 17, 2011A more accessible and enjoyable racer than last year's outing, MotoGP 10/11 ensures the franchise is once again heading in the right direction.
-
Mar 17, 2011It has greatly improved in comparison with the previous installment, mostly because we can configure the game to be a simulation or an arcade experience.
-
Mar 15, 2011In short, Monumental Games has done all the hard work – MotoGP 10/11 is genuinely deserving of a place alongside the cream of motorsport simulators; now all the series needs to do is pop open a magnum of Champagne and celebrate the sport just as confidently as it simulates it.
-
Mar 16, 2011MotoGP 10/11 is a good way to get your racing fix. It's an enjoyable game that manages to capture the feel of charging about a track on a bike without being inaccessible to newcomers to the series.
-
Mar 21, 2011There's a lot of improvement in this chapter, where handling, phisics and AI deliver a lot more than last year. It's still a shame for the overall big lack of polish, something that still keeps the saga away from higher scores.
-
Mar 23, 2011MotoGP 10/11 turned out to be fairly decent if not altogether impressive. The career mode alone should keep even the most seasoned of players occupied for a considerable amount of time, not to mention the online portion of the game.
-
Mar 20, 2011This new MotoGP game is more of the same. The gameplay is exactly the same as his predecessor and besides of that there is just one big new feature and that is the possibility to play the career mode in co-op.
-
Jun 3, 2011MotoGP 10/11 is a solid enough racer once you get to grips with the somewhat iffy handling. There are plenty of options to play with, a career mode that will keep you going and although the online racing aspect is likely to disappoint due to lack of opponents, it's decent enough when you find a lobby to your liking. The real drawback here is that things are identical to MotoGP 09/10, which again is identical to MotoGP 08. If you already have the previous title, it's debatable as to whether there's enough content here to warrant a full-price purchase, especially given the free 2010 season update for the last game. It's one to wait till the bargain bin beckons.

Playstation: The Official Magazine (US)Apr 15, 2011The series has a long way to go before anyone starts calling it the Gran Turismo of motorcycle racing, but it's definitely on the right track. [May 2011, p.87]
-
Apr 10, 2011MotoGP 10/11 is certainly not a terrible game, yet it has so little to offer besides its decent career and great racing core that it becomes really difficult to recommend to anyone but the most enthusiastic of MotoGP fans.
-
Mar 29, 2011The new MotoGP has a lot of good things in it: the Career mode is rich and exciting, while physics and sense of speed are really improved. The gameplay is pretty similar to the one in MotoGP 09/10, but the possibility to turn several driving assists off provides a deeper and more satisfying experience. Unfortunately the graphics is still lacking and the opponents' AI is absolutely awful.
-
Mar 23, 2011Despite the subtle and underwhelming changes the game has undergone, MotoGP 10/11 is a better and more realistic race-game than its predecessor. There remains room for improvement, but the developer seems to be on the right track.
-
Mar 19, 2011It's a thoroughly decent representation of the sport with a good range of modes and some fairly neat ideas, particularly in the career. That said, it's dangerously close to being the same package that last year's game was and, until the free 2011 season update arrives as DLC, it's hard to find a reason why gamers should pick this one up over a discounted copy of MotoGP 09/10.
-
Mar 16, 2011It's the nearest to a bike equivalent of Forza that you're going to get for now but it still feels like it needs a little more work to be a true must have. Roll on MotoGP 11/12, it could finally be what every bike fan is eager for.
-
Mar 15, 2011MotoGP 10/11 is a decent game, nothing more than that. It has to be said that the new co-op mode is really great, but that's the only really cool addition to this newest game in the MotoGP franchise.
-
Apr 6, 2011All the flaws combined don't sink the game as much as they simply make it frustrating to play and for purists the physics will certainly cause eyebrows to raise. Moto GP10/11 is best suited for racing fans who simply want to hop on a bike and go while leaving believability at the door.
-
Apr 6, 2011This year's Moto GP comes packed with great graphics, improved handling and an all new physics engine. Too bad the developers decided not to add any new modes or gameplay quirks. The end result is a solid racing game that is neither fresh nor original!
-
Apr 14, 2011Sadly, this will have to go down as a missed opportunity that has changed very little since last year's version, making MotoGP 10/11 a difficult game to recommend, even to fans of the real-life racing series.
-
Mar 30, 2011The problematic handling and lackluster nature of many of the game's features makes it impossible to recommend for most players. Unless you're a series die-hard, you're probably fine sticking with last year's entry, or just renting this one. The developers succeeded at delivering a rock-solid online experience, but the core racing gameplay still needs a lot of work before this can become a must-have series.
-
Mar 29, 2011MotoGP 10/11 will disappoint anyone who enjoyed last year's game. In short, the 'all-new handling' the game uses as a selling point makes for a game lodged between two conflicting race genres.
-
Mar 27, 2011It's better than last year's abysmal effort, that's for sure. But it's still not the supreme racer the biking scene deserves.
-
Play UKApr 21, 2011Dreary to look at, grating on the ears and no better than MotoGP 09/10. [Issue#204, p.91]
-
Playstation Official Magazine AustraliaMay 27, 2011This year's game is also more of a sim than ever before as the handling model is tougher to crack than a Kevlar-coated walnut... Yet, it's ultimately not worth your time. There's an amazing sense of speed but the feedback's muted in the way the bikes brake, and the first time you jam on the anchors you'll still cascade into the gravel. Adjusting to this is by an approximation of feel – there's little visual indication or general feedback that your rider is yanking on the front lever and squeezing the ball of his foot on the brake pedal, so you just need to guess how much space to give yourself. It's also about as pretty as a bag full of elbows. [June 2011 p.79]
-
Apr 20, 2011The graphics are still just old. It's a game that is not visually appealing.
-
Apr 8, 2011But if you enjoy the thrill of this particular chase, and can overlook the game's average visuals, occasionally glitchy audio, and even the rather flat control scheme in cockpit mode, then you will likely enjoy MotoGP 10/11.
-
Mar 29, 2011A definite improvement over last years effort, particularly when it comes to physics and handling. However, it's still held back by a swath of smaller issues, such as a confusing interface and odd invisible bumps in some of the tracks. Still, there's enough here for the game to be worth a look, at least if you're a motorcycling enthusiast.
-
Playstation Official Magazine UKMar 24, 2011Slickly presented, but under the decals it's more mobility aid than motor storm. [Apr 2011, p.112]
-
Mar 19, 2011Flawed motorcycle physics and lackluster graphics hold back the potential of this official MotoGP racer.
-
PSM3 Magazine UKMar 13, 2011Not realistic, and not much fun. [Apr 2011, p.90]
