Once you get your hands on the game, you'll find that it feels cheap and doesn't provide you with satisfying combat, which is what hack and slash titles are all about. If you're looking for zombie entertainment, I'd probably look elsewhere.

Bad graphics, minimalistic and simplistic gameplay, repetition. This game was mediocre on the 360, on the PC and now on PS3. Don’t bother getting this game. Unless you have way too much time on your hands.

If you enjoyed the original game but found it frustrating, than Grave Danger will be a welcome addition. However, if you loved the challenge of the original this one will likely be a cakewalk by comparison.

Monster Madness: Grave Danger for the PS3 is an improvement over Battle for Suburbia for the 360. Unfortunately, there's not enough to make it that much better, and the overall tired concept and stale gameplay is simply not much fun.

While your first few moments with Grave Danger might actually fool you into thinking it could be fun -- especially if you're getting some co-op play on -- you'll ultimately be brought back to painful, boring reality.

To be honest, I really, REALLY wanted to like Monster Madness. But annoying voice over, lazy cutscenes with static pictures, bad hit detection and worse attacking issues, I just can't recommend this one.

Even though Southpeak has added a bunch of extra content to the PS3 port, at the end of the day it still feels more like a downloadable game that is worth, at most $20.

Monster Madness: Grave Danger is an improvement over the XBOX 360 title, but still has some kinks. The story is lacking and I can’t really see gamers being drawn into it again for a second go around.

Fun, fun, and fun. That’s all Monster Madness is. Find some mates and split the cost of a copy and some beers. Not an essential purchase and a pricey one for what it is, but well worth your time.

Monster Madness: Grave Danger needed to be a big improvement over the original game if it was going to compete with the PS3's best titles, but it's not. It plays better than the Xbox 360 version, but the core game is essentially what it was.

I highly suggest playing the PS3 edition of Monster Madness: Grave Danger over the Xbox 360 or PC version (titled: Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia), but I definitely think there’s not much here and this gives players a dull experience.

After playing or rather attempting to play Grave Danger I can’t help but wonder if the game would benefit from being available through the PlayStation Store.
