  1. Not as good as its predecessor but a fun, nostalgic return to that blue guy we love to love.
  2. Not for everybody. The primitive graphics might scare younger generations of gamers away, but there's plenty to love for nostalgics and fans of the original Mega Man games.

Mega Man 10 is on certain moments a good game, but it drops stitches as well. Furthermore, the bosses aren't all original and the soundtrack is a little bit annoying. Still the game offers enough innovation to keep you busy for hours.

Never enough to convince you that it wouldn't be much better if it ditched the retro hardline and splashed out on some graphics. [May 2010, p.113]
  5. The new “easy mode” drains any bragging rights from players who beat the hourlong game, as it lavishes them with 1-ups at nearly every turn.
  6. It's Mega Man, and there's nothing wrong with that. I'll keep playing them as long as they keep making them, but that doesn't mean that this new iteration isn't vulnerable to the same stagnation that the original series was.
  7. Mega Man 10 doesn't quite perhaps have the sparkling feel of reinvention that its predecessor enjoyed, but if you were one of the many who considered MM9 a welcome return to form, then this is another must-buy. Everyone else is perfectly entitled to look confused.

Without the brutal challenge, it's a game that will take mere hours to finish and even fewer to forget. [May 2010, p.101]

I don't give it a perfect score because not everyone can sit down and play it, save for the most hardcore of gamers. Having said that, the game is a blast to play. There's lots of replay value (challenges and time attack), the leaderboards provide something to brag about, and the game itself comes with trophy support. If you have a thirst for a real challenge and are quite fond of 8-bit graphics, this is the game to buy. I love it. Full Review »

I know this is an older game but it's really hard to get over the big pixels to enjoy the gameplay. There are old games I played and gameplay and story makes you forget about graphics but this one is not one of them, and I played much older games which looked better. 45 min or so was how much I could play before deleting it. Mega Man 10 is one those 2D classic games with an insane difficulty and addictive controls. I guess it could have been significantly better considering its success in the past, but it is still a decent game (especially for the staunchest fans).
