Oct 25, 2012Good, but still far from what EA is attempting to achieve. It will be enough for those looking for their annual war-themed FPS, but its gameplay needs to reach the high levels seen in its audio and visual aspects.

Play UKNov 30, 2012The campaign is crap. Clearly. [Issue#225, p.70]
-
Oct 30, 2012Warfighter has a nice multiplayer mode (although not better than Call of Duty or Battlefield). It's just a shame that the single player campaign ends up being so bad.
-
Oct 26, 2012Warfighter is just a decent war-FPS with a brief and annoying campaign and a temporarily enjoyable multiplayer. Another Medal of Honor that can't achieve our expectations.
-
PSM3 Magazine UKNov 26, 2012Warfighter isn't big or clever, and it's definitely not original. [Christmas 2012, p.88]

Official PlayStation Magazine BeneluxDec 4, 2012Every once in a while Danger Close breaks the endless mould of duck & cover gameplay by letting you mark a building for an air strike, chase down an informant or provide sniper support. But even these sequences repeat themselves multiple times throughout the game. [December 2012, p.68]

Oct 25, 2012Medal of Honor: Warfighter doesn't live up to its expectations. The single player features six hours of shooting dumb and scripted enemies. Only the chase through Dubai will linger in your mind after you finish the game. The multiplayer has improved thanks to the addition of fire teams, but the indestructibility of environments and a boring unlock system make sure the multiplayer won't rob you of your night's rest.
-
Dec 14, 2012As a complete package, Medal of Honor: Warfighter is disappointing when you consider the amount of hype surrounding it.
-
Nov 12, 2012With a little more time in the developing stage Medal of Honor: Warfighter could had been something that EA had hoped for, but with the fast turnaround times they expect, the game just failed for the most part. While it's not Thor: God of Thunder (the worst game I have ever played) it just doesn't live up to other games in the same genre.
-
Oct 30, 2012I think Danger Close definitely upgraded the series in some places with Warfighter, but regretfully took more than a few steps backwards in most of it.
-
Oct 29, 2012Medal of Honor: Warfighter is a true disappointment. The campaign is not only short but is also dull and derivative, with just a few interesting and memorable missions. The multiplayer works, with a pair of interesting features, but it sits in the grey zone between Battlefield and Call of Duty.
-
Oct 25, 2012Assuming you can patch it and it works, what you've got here is a basic shooter that, when it remembers what it is, can be fun, and when it forgets, goes mad.
-
Oct 25, 2012The campaign is just a depressing mix of missed opportunities and one firefight that feels exactly like the one before it. The AI is erratic, the story isn't well presented, and the even the overall design doesn't feel inspired. The general control is reliable and responsive, some parts are quite satisfying, and the multiplayer really is entertaining for long periods of time.
-
Oct 30, 2012Beneath the awkward plotline and the average gameplay, you can see the game that it was meant to be, and that is the saddest story of all.
-
Oct 29, 2012Enough already! Stop trying to be Call of Duty, you're failing miserably at it. This shooter lacks any ideas of its own and only delivers an extremely lackluster single-player campaign and an online multiplayer segment that will not be able to hold your attention for long. Do not buy this, you'll regret it.

Playstation Official Magazine AustraliaNov 28, 2012Buggy as hell, and multiplayer is severely lacking. [Christmas 2012, p.83]
-
Oct 25, 2012Medal of Honor: Warfighter more resembles an untrained insurgent trying to figure out a state-of-the-art rocket launcher than a Tier 1 soldier.
-
Oct 25, 2012This is a bland, buggy and often boring title, one that belies the intentions of its developers and leaves the much-maligned modern shooter looking worse as a result.
-
Oct 24, 2012There's been a backlash brewing for some time against the bombastic direction military shooters have taken, but it would be wrong to assume that Medal of Honor: Warfighter is simply the game unlucky enough to bear its brunt. The truth is far simpler and more depressing: it's just not that good.
-
Nov 14, 2012Shooting in Warfighter is excellent, and the presentation is great, but it doesn't stop the game from being broken literally, and thematically.
-
Oct 26, 2012At its core, Warfighter is a functional shooter built on trite design ideas, but significant technical problems knock it below the realm of mediocrity.
-
Dec 19, 2012Where COD maintains a smooth 60fps, Warfighter gets a nosebleed trying to put out 30fps. Modern Warfare boasts near-instant restarts after death; here, lengthy loading times merely add to the frustration.
