    For a DLC that only adds around 10 minutes of cutscenes, it does this incredibly well. Combined with the fact that it's of no charge, this is an essential addition to the game and massively improves the endings.

    Excellent Content. I highly recommend getting it prior to getting to the end of ME3. Otherwise you end up with a game that deserves a perfect 10, but with an ending that makes it unplayable. It adds mostly context that was missing in the original, but is critical to actually understand what was happening in the end. Also you might want to watch 2001 A Space Odyssey and 2010, or youExcellent Content. I highly recommend getting it prior to getting to the end of ME3. Otherwise you end up with a game that deserves a perfect 10, but with an ending that makes it unplayable. It adds mostly context that was missing in the original, but is critical to actually understand what was happening in the end. Also you might want to watch 2001 A Space Odyssey and 2010, or you might not be able to appreciate the final dialog options.… Expand

    The Extended Cut is just what Mass Effect 3 needed. It expands on the original endings which felt rushed and gives more closure to Shepard's story.

    On top of this it also lowers the maximum EMS requirement to 3100 which means that the war assets you collect in single-player will be enough and you no longer have to keep the galactic readiness score up.     "Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut": Great game, it provides a great experience for the player. 6 out of 7. Played it on PlayStation 3.
