    It delivers new experiences with its gameplay, offers rewarding bonus content (playable minor league teams, and collectable baseball cards), and improves upon its already robust online play with an array of sorting options that will allow players to find the appropriate match-ups. The only area that needs work is Franchise mode.

    MLB 2K8 is a game for true fans--it's like being there at the ballpark. There are lots of details that only baseball fans will appreciate. It won't appeal to general gamers or those who don't really like baseball though.

    With optimism of the upcoming Patch, this game is great for what it is.

    If you are a 360 only owner and a baseball fan, you will be more than please with this Title.

    You can adjust settings in the meantime to reduce/eliminate hiccups.

    The Card game is surprisingly addictive. The Franchise is fantastic and the new controls (especially Pitching) make every single Pitch, At-Bat and Ball in Play really matter.    … Full Review »

Instead of focusing on the subtleties of the sport and the little details that define baseball, instead of fixing framerate and make the animations more fluid and less robotic, they focused on innovations for the sake of innovations, that would have been welcome if the game was solid enough. It seems that during this year's development, they just realized that they could not deliver a game true to the sport, and thus they desperately threw something new in, to get at least better reviews. I know that many people enjoy this game anyway. However, if you are a playstation user, and a true baseball fan, The Show is a much much better game and experience overall.… Full Review »

The framerate issues are very annoying and the visuals are very dark and sort of foggy. Over all if your a 360 owner stick with 2k7 but your a PS3 owner like me, get your money back and grab the show. thats what I did and now I am happy.… Full Review »
