Aug 13, 2023Such a fun and ambitious game. Its not perfect by any. means and honestly the length really drags on for me. But the immersiveness really brings out the best in this title.

Dec 20, 2022Pretty interesting game with good acting and plot. Gameplay was fairly good overall and story kept me engaged. Graphics are a bit poor, but the facial animations, voice acting, and story make up for it.

Oct 18, 2022I honestly didn't expect myself to love this game so much. It usually isn't my cup of tea, neither the setting nor the gameplay. But this one just played out so well.

Sep 2, 2022Definitely a unique game but not for everyone. Recommended for people who like detective stories and dialogue.

Mar 28, 2022The best detective game to ever grace this planet. Sherlock Holmes ain't got nothing on Cole Phelps!
-
May 26, 2021Played it in 2016 when it wasn't even an idea for the game to be remastered for PS4...
It's a game for those who like to think, solve riddles and enjoy the '40s -

Dec 2, 2020For me L.A Noire is an underrated game. It has fantastic story and presentation. Makes you feel like a real detective. AFAIK they used motion capture tech for the face expressions and it look nice. Atmosphere is also nice. Cars, musics, clothes, hats; everything suit to the world well. Must play if you love the Noir theme. Hard to find an equivalent.

Nov 11, 2020If you are addicted to crime movies this game will be pure entertainment for you. If you are not, L.A. NOIRE it's still a high quality product from Rockstar and worth to be played. Masterpiece.

Jul 11, 2020I'm going to watch some films noire because of this game, sad it still does not get a sequal.

May 24, 2020I very much enjoyed my time playing L.A. Noire. Some of the interrogation missions were a good challenge to figure out if the suspect is innocent or not.

Feb 7, 2018Masterpiece. Great graphics, atmosphere, sound, gameplay. Very engaging greatly written storyline. The atmosphere of this time period is so well shown in this game. I really feel so immersed in it. The ending gave a lot to think. Even after replaying a case for the 3rd time it still feels like there's something new. Audio and video only help the story.

Nov 12, 2017Amazing Game. Innovative and everything you could ask for. The gameplay mechanics present something which has never been done. Truely amazing what the developed did. We need a sequel!
-
Dec 4, 2016Enjoyed this game, very intuitive and it brings in some new gameplay mechanics that I have not seen before. The game is kinda like GTA, but you act as an detective. Graphics are great story is great. Gameplay itself can be tedious, but will grow on you after a few hours.

Jan 11, 2016Graphics: 8.5 Sound: 9.5 Gameplay: 8.8 Fun/Story: 9.0
A soulful, well made, kindness and melancholic game. Amazing noir spirit of Los Angeles and a good storytelling (despite some dispersive feeling because of being an open world game). Some may not like its pace, with some repetitiveness structure but i think that was one of the game objectives. -
Aug 15, 2015Great game. Full of some brilliant missions and I love how old fashioned it is! It mainly goes to show how the power of knowledge is what gets you through life.

Pelit (Finland)Oct 19, 2011At first L.A. Noire seems a bit too easy, then it gets interesting and reading people's reactions makes for some of the best gaming this year. The atmosphere is spot on and the late 40's LA really feels like an authentic, living place. [June 2011]
-
Aug 16, 2011Team Bondi created a technical masterpiece with L.A. Noire. The problem is that they didn't create an artistic or even entertaining masterpiece.
-
Jul 26, 2011Look past the glitz of technical achievements, richly designed sets, ostensibly interactive environments, and you will see the real L.A. Noire – a vapid adventure with a hole-ridden plot, a boring unsympathetic hero, and rough stitches in places where content should be.
