Jeremy McGrath's Offroad is a competent racing game that fails to drum up and excitement and is completely overshadowed by retail releases like DiRT Showdown.

2XL Games offers us a modest but entertaining offroad racing arcade. While sporting good ideas, such as vehicle development, it's quite evident those ideas are not polished enough. The technical aspect is also weak, but a good design and the variety of scenarios make up for it. The online multiplayer mode could be its redemption if it wasn't so hard to find other players.

The game looks and plays well enough but isn't particularly engaging(unless you're a Jeremy McGrath fan). [Sept 2012, p.87]

Jeremy McGrath's Offroad is a competent racer, though with numerous issues and little replay value, you may want to look elsewhere for your offroad kicks.

There's nothing fundamentally wrong with Jeremy McGrath's Offroad so much as there's no compelling reason to recommend it over other racing titles that have more depth, variety, and make for a more engrossing racing experience for the same asking price. Instead, it's a barebones package with a famous name in the title that nails the basics and nothing else.

Great little racer running at full hd resolution and 60 frames per second, I wish much bigger games would look as good as this one, solidGreat little racer running at full hd resolution and 60 frames per second, I wish much bigger games would look as good as this one, solid campaign and multiplayer with voice chat.
