HalninetH.May 29, 2009Very good game, not the most original, but the most fun I've had in an open city since crackdown.

KameronF.May 28, 2009With only a couple of minor flaws, this game delivers absolute fun, comic book style.

RandyO.May 28, 2009Excellent open world game that gives you the feeling of being a true superhero.

MatthewI.May 28, 2009Well my vote is actually 9.5 but there is no option for that so i will round up. This game is extremely fun to play, but what would be even more fun is if there were different heroes you can play with, for example a physic or a flame bender or something.

RobC.May 28, 2009The game revolutionizes open-world platforming by letting you scale and climb any structure with seamless and rewarding controls. I've had more fun just running around InFamous from roof-to-roof than I've ever had driving around Liberty City in GTA4. Brilliant Sucker Punch!

[Anonymous]May 28, 2009OK I have played the game and I loved it. But the people marking it down because of what? The controls are not inverted? You can change that via options menu as always. A dull city, Its had an explosion in it! People arn't going to be happy and there's not going to be rainbows everywhere. Still great graphics, great gameply, its repeatable and fun

MitchMay 27, 2009It's a solid game, but I think that I had more fun with Crackdown. But I'm still playing it, so that's gotta be a good thing, huh?

StephenH.May 27, 2009This game is completely addicting in every way. There is little repetition that does not harm the game in any and the combat is seamless and exciting. the story seems to good enough for an actual comic book hero. Nothing wrong with this game.

BryanF.May 27, 2009Perfectly constructed video game, its the kinda game that kids will be in school thinking about going home to. And I personally look forward to going home from work as is haha, but now I also have another great game to look forward too. And my wife and dog and all that other stuff :P

NickR.May 27, 2009I haven't had this much fun in a game for a while, last game was Fallout 3. This is similar fun, but a very different and almost fun I remember having playing games when I was a kid. (30 now)

AnthonyR.May 27, 2009This game is addictive and fun, period. It isn't perfect in terms of graphics and some controls, but the sheer joy I get playing it makes up for this. To me, that's what makes a great game: something you think about playing even when your not.

Awards & Rankings
-
Cole's powers are cool, the graphic novel cutscenes are stunning, the story is intriguing, and the city is alive.
-
Most importantly, the movement and combat mechanics are fantastic, while the firefights (and the starring role of electricity) are a true spectacle. In this game the city is both your playground and your plaything, and you'll feel like a bad-ass.
-
While not wholly original, the game's blend of open world ideals with superhero powers is done with a verve that’s unsurpassed, and the mesh of platforming and freeform combat is uniquely satisfying.
